My much needed time off!
Hey all! I'm back!
I had to take a break from wealthy affiliate and from my website due to being burnt out from school, work and working out. I quickly realized that I wasn't enjoying what I was doing anymore. It became a chore and because of that, I started getting extremely cranky with people and said some things I wouldn't normally say. I had to get my mind off of things and just give myself a break. I felt like my positive energy was completely gone and my writing suffered tremendously. I have to be in a positive state of mind in order to be at my best in my writing.
Anyhow, I feel very refreshed now and I'm eager to continue where I left off. I've been enjoying watching the first two weeks of the NFL regular season, and I'm very pleased with how my Chargers and Phillip Rivers have looked thus far under new coach Mike McCoy. I was very impressed with how they came back against the Eagles and Chip Kelly's overrated offense! (yeah I went there, sorry Eagles fans!). I have also begun a very challenging Spanish for native speakers course at my school in which I'm learning to write and speak in Spanish formally. I got to say, even though I can communicate well in Spanish and I speak it at home, it's very difficult to write and speak it in a formal way. This really makes me respect members on here that speak English as a second language, because it's no joke trying to learn and master another language.
I'm hoping to one day be able to master the Spanish language enough to be able to create a website in Spanish and be able to effectively communicate to the Hispanic community. I feel like this would give me a much broader audience and it would be cool to connect with people from other Latin countries. I also plan on one day moving to either Mexico or Spain (hey maybe both!) and possibly going to school over there or work as a sports writer. I think that would be an amazing experience and I'm working hard to make this a reality.

True! I think the key is not allowing yourself to get so burnt out that you end up quitting.
It's very good to know yourself, and I wonder if someone who is reading your article as a third-language user thinks that you now own the Chargers, whatever they are; and that you have mastered the art of being in two places simultaneously. Just a wild imagining...;-)
Hahahaha well the Chargers wouldn't exist without the loyalty and support of the fans, so I believe we do have some sore of ownership of the team!
You were wise to realize that you needed a break and wiser to take it. Glad to hear that you are recharged and ready to get back into it. Best of luck as you continue to move toward your goals.
Hello Robert. Excellent blog. That is great that you want to master the Spanish language in a formal way. I speak Persian, my native language, German as a second language, English as a third language and I took 6 semesters of French at college as forth language. But you know the language that I learned grammatically correct and formal is only German. Why? Because I had to pass the German University Proficiency Admission test which was a requirement for foreign students to be accepted in any major at any German university. Only 7% of students admitted to any major could be from other countries, and hundreds of foreigners were competing with each other to be among the 7% allowance.
My point is that I was studying the german language so hard, because I had to pass that test. I speak fluently my native language but if I want to do the same thing as you want to do, I have to go back home and study formal Persian, as well.

Wow that is incredible that you know so many languages! And you write very good English as well! Hmmm I don't believe I've met Fernan, I'll have to look him up!

I pretty much take the weekends off. I have much to do on Monday but, I feel ya and I don't want to get burned out.
I've always wanted to master another language. I know how it feels to get burnt out -- there's nothing wrong with taking a lil break! Glad to see you're back. Good luck!

Entiendo acerca de lo que mencionas acerca del Español. Eso es muy buena idea. :)
Jajaja abrumadora es una de las palabras de vocabulario que estoy aprendiendo en mi clase. Y pues tengo que practicar mucho porque aunque creci hablando los dos idiomas, e olivdado mucho del espanol. Pero lo bueno es que tengo una buen profesora que es de Argentina.
En serio? Yo hasta cierto punto te entiendo Robert. Lo que pasa que en Estados Unidos se habla mas Ingles que Español en algunos de los caso. He tendio muchos amigos que han pasado por eso.
