I Need a Fairy Godmother
I need a fairy godmother to make my wedding work. I need my own David Tutera! Never mind all of the tips and pointers I have on my website to help couples keep their weddings within budget because you have to actually have a budget in order for them to work. Want to know where my budget went? Probably not, but this is my blog so I'll tell you anyway.
Last summer a family member needed a place to stay due to unexpected circumstances, so we let her stay with us. Four months later, she needed money to move six hours away so we lent it to her with the expectation that she would pay it back in two weeks. Two months later, we still haven't been paid back.
Meanwhile, my job took a toll on me and I powered through the pain as I have always done. (I have had arthritis since birth.) Long story short I have little cartilage left in my right knee and right ankle, and lost my balance at work several times, falling once. This year I have worked a total of 10 days at my call center job where I was a manager. I was approved for FMLA and they are trying to change it to LOA since I have missed so much. Of course though I am no longer getting paid.
My fiance is stressing out, trying to figure out how to pay for bills let alone the wedding, and I feel helpless. He refuses to postpone it. I have multiple lines in the water, including making money from home, and I really really REALLY need my website to work. I realize that this blog is more personal than usual but I felt like if I didn't tell someone I'd explode. Who better than my WA family? We all have our issues. We all have our reasons for being at WA. Mine happens to include wishing for a fairy godmother. What is yours?

BlankenA, gracesystem has the right answer if in fact you have accepted Jesus' sacrifice for you and you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior. If you haven't then you will just have to "hang in there" as they say. But if you are a believer and have accepted Jesus then you can take it to Jesus and you can stand on what it says in Philippians 4:19 Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." If you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus and you would like to talk about it send me a pm.
I know how you feel, never trust any body at all. I just lost $5000.00 last August to the one so call best friend, any way just don't thinking to much. Let it out the good things will happen after rain. Happy
Keep your head up . It will all work itself out . Stay positive . Think about it this way , whatever your going through , somebody has it a lot worse than you .
My reasons are similar to yours (though I'm on the opposite side of the marriage event). Hang in there - I put up a story about perseverance back on 3/24, here's the link:https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jcfuhrmann/blog/a-lesson-from-john-wesley-powell
You're in our prayers too.
I feel your pain, trust me. I'm sure it felt better to write it out.
When I go through stuff like this, I say to myself as long as I got my internet, and a roof over my head I'm okay. I hope things work out for you. Wish you the best. Evelyn
My friend tell it to Jesus, he will make a way for you.He is excellent at things like that.

Thank Goodness, I was beginning to wonder if the "Amazing Amanda" was super human! Your website is amazing, you've got social media conquered, and that doesn't even touch the surface of your Pinterest success.
Having temporary money issues makes you normal. We all go through it and sometimes the only thing that gets us through is knowing that this is a phase of life. Phases don't last forever.
By the way, my husband and I planned a huge wedding. Two months prior, we were in Vegas to see the opening of Phantom at the new Venetian theater. As we left the hotel, there was a wedding chapel. We looked at each other, laughed, and went to the place to get a marriage license (which you can do in Vegas in about 10 min.).
We got back home, canceled the big wedding, and used that money to help buy our first house. Yes, some folks were upset. In my opinion, it was selfish of them to be mad. Our wedding was supposed to be for us, not them.
Good luck and if you need anything, PM me. I'm in Texas, too!
