No Internet, No Problem!
Well no problem if you live in the stone age!
Who said that our inspiring internet entrepreneurs never get out and about and we spend all our time in front of our laptops?
Sometimes we also need to roll up our sleeves and get some physical work done :-)
Like when you get a network specialist out to test your internet signal and trying to find out why you have no internet signal, just to find out that your problem is not lack of network coverage but t0o much!
How you ask, well my new home is smack bang in the middle of no less than 5 towers supplying me with internet signal! And my router cannot get a fix on one due to the conflict of the different strengths of signals!
As a last resort, a scaled the ladder with a mobile antenna to see if height might solve the issue, after three and half hours I was desperate and had put my fear of heights aside and did what needs to be done!
Imagine my delight when I found a strong signal! Finally, after two months of struggling with my ISP I had the solution, literally in my hands so to speak!
Just to find out that, now I have to wait for them to first approve and then to order me an antenna! Nooooo! Let's hope that does not take another month!
Hope the rest of you have better internet fortunes! I resorted to do this blog on my phone, which has its own challenges, but never the less here it is!

Good work, I wouldn't like climbing up a ladder either. Hope the aerial doesn't need to be too tall. We had to have one put in at our Computer Club, so tall it has a red light on top, but it works really well.

Love your post but not the problem. We have a similar situation with T.V. reception. We lived in one apartment on the 2nd floor and the reception was pretty good but now that we have moved to a different area and on the 1st floor we get terrible reception.

It happened in JHB last year, the ISP had a huge fiber drive, everyone converted to fiber and in the first month, the system went down with a failure.
We can not win them all!

Well done you... a problem solver and brave. No internet is not funny in this day and age. Who even knew that would be a problem not so many years ago.

Wow. Well at least you’ve found a strong signal. We live out in the country and I don’t have a choice about what I get. And it’s not great lol. When you have to share the nearest tower with everyone else for miles around, well, let’s just say i miss the city lol
