Power of Google Sharing
I share all my Aquaponics posts on social media and of all the shares Google+ gives me the best results on Google search.
As you can see by the screenshot above, I have two of my blog posts listed on the first page of Google at 3rd and 4th. These are both from my G+ site.
Never under estimate the power of social media, especially Google sites.

I have been posting there for a while but never checked the search engines.
I was always taught to use Google related sites, i.e. YouTube, G+ and Google drive. Of course Google gives them more credit when ranking your site.

Hi, Kev! This is good - Google+ is indeed a good platform for sharing. However, make sure to conduct searches ONLY on "incognito" mode in your browser. Otherwise, Google will use the cookies you have in the system in order to try and target content to your interests, and this masks the results. This is a mistake I made, and I would often get really happy to see first page results for highly competitive keywords, only to later find out that this was not the case.
