1. Live Chat - like knowing it is available 24/7. A good way to tune in to what is on people's minds.

2. My favorite training is one where I learn something useful and practical that I did not know before.

3. Setting up a blog is explained clearly and is easy to follow.

4. I had a dreadful experience with previous hosting providers. That disappeared when I moved my sites here.

5. Live events - I don't get to them "live". I like knowing I can look through the archive and find what I want to know about. Jay's trainings are spot on to what is timely and relevant.

6. I like Site Comments. It's a useful feature. I'm glad that earning credits is an option for members who want to do that.

7. I find WA members to be generous with their time and help.

8. Jaaxy is easy to learn and use.

9. The site email feature is satisfactory for my purposes. I use the forwarding feature for my domain emails.

10. Sub domains can be handy if that suits one's business model.

11. Site Support is awesome.

12. Success - it's great that we have success stories. But it is important to understand that the success of others has nothing to do with our own success - we are responsible for that.

13. In my experience, relying on motivation from external sources can only give us a temporary boost. Inspiration, on the other hand, is an inside job. Being inspired and taking inspired action is way more fun, so it becomes easier to stick with it. ~Jude

Thank you so much Jude for your very detailed experience with Wealthy Affiliate! You are right about being inspired and taking inspired action.

Wow.. A lot there and to be honest My experience is 100 percent like all of it

You are right Dave. Thank you for your comment!

Glad it helped

I don't beleive I could have built my website so quickly and effectively without it.

The trianing and ability to ask specific questions and get answers is second to none.

Paul

True to that Paul! Fantastic! Thank you for your answer.

Simple answer, love all of it, the other members are fantastic and they are the ones that keep me motivated. Jim

Thanks Jim for your answer. Keep moving forward!

Using WA credits from Site Comments and Affiliate Credits to pay for premium membership

Hey guys,

I am helping my starter referrals to earn enough WA credits to

Diane has your answer.

Hi - to become a certified commenter, you need to give 50 comments in 30 days with an 80% approval rate. These first 50 comments are not paid. You then have to keep up this level of comments.

After becoming certified, then each alternative comment which is given may attract a payment of $0.50, but this is not guaranteed, it depends on the economics of the platform.

So, to earn enough to pay the first months membership of $19, a person would have to give the initial 50 comments, plus a further 76, making a total of 126 comments. This would not be easy to do, bearing in mind, they get snapped very quickly, and often there are none available.

Plus, the comments have to be in-depth and high-quality to get approved. If a member drops below the 80% approval rate, then they are banned from commenting ever again.

To be honest, if a person is struggling to pay the first $19, then how are they going to continue their membership, when the following months are $49? Remember, once a person has gone premium, if they can't afford to pay the next month, they can't go back to being a free starter.

Hi Diane, thanks for you reply and confirmation. Yes, it's hard to do but for some people who are struggling to get back, this might be a very good option to pay for their first month of their membership. I am also creating training to teach them how to get referrals quickly to keep their premium membership the second month onwards to keep the retention high.

I have created a closed group for my premium members to teach them a system I used to get referrals.

So the first step is to help them earn some credits to pay for $19 the first month and subsequently I will teach them how to make $49 the second month.

Going premium would be the first step.

Please note, I have given you an overview as to what would be required, but I cannot confirm it is actually possible for free starters to access the Site Comments feature.

Noted. Thank you

Good answer Di

Can someone help do a confirmation that free starter members can take advantage of the Site Comments feature to get certified within the first 7 days of joining?

Can they actually get certified within first 7 days by having 50 approved comments and getting $50 WA credits to use to pay for their $19 premium membership?

I think, Site Comments is a privilege reserved for premium members only. See attached screenshot.

What new members can do if they want to subsidize their tuition fee of $19 with WA credits is, spend $19 first and think of subsidizing with credits later.

Besides, earning $50 via Site Comments isn't that fast unless you're super good at commenting.

I know because, I'm one of the certified commenters and I've been paying WA with credits for 3 months now.

That’s so cool!!!

Yes, and also registered a domain name with WA credits. This company is so kind, nothing compares to WA! :)

I didn't know about that. This sounds super awesome!

Yes, you can choose for WA credits to pay, they can find the option in the settings.
By the way, the $1 dollar they receive for completing a profile has a threshold, you need 5% upgrade before that amount is paid. So signing up people to earn is not enough.
I have, at the moment, less than 5% upgrade, so I can not access those 67 dollars.
Monthly affiliate fee (23,50) will be paid out every 1st of the month and can be used. The annual fee has a threshold of 1 month.

Thank you Loes for your reply. I’m wondering about that 5% upgrade as well. That’s what’s bothering me. Does it means 5% of my referrals need to upgrade before I can use the wa credits?

So let’s say I referred 100 people and 5 people upgraded so does it mean 5% upgrade?

Do you know anything about the Site Comments feature platform? Is it available for starter referrals for their first 7 days of sign up? From what I have read, you need to accumulate 50 comments to be certified to unlock the credits to use to pay for premium. Is it correct the information?

I believe it is 5% of the people who have filled in their profile. So, the numbies (people who do nothing) do not count in this case. But to be sure, you should ask Kyle and Carson.

When I am correct, when you have $100 for completing profiles, 5 should go premium.

Yes, I wrote a training about that

I understand this threshold, otherwise, whole classrooms could signup, and collect this money time after time

Okay. For confirmation, is Site comments available for Free starter members within the first 7 days?

Can they acquired the certification within the first 7 days and uses the $50 credits to pay for $19 premium?

I really don't know, if this feature is available for the first 7 days, I only know that it's not available for starter members after these 7 days, you should ask Kyle and Carson this. I know that the offer for $19 is forever, so, they have more time to save money

I think what Mommy Loes is referring to with 5% threshold is WA Affiliate Credits. WA Cash Credits from participating in Site Comments have no threshold but with its own standards to be met like approval rate and number of comments given. WA Affiliate Credits are earned by referring people to WA while WA Cash Credits are earned by participating in Site Comments.

Correct

I believe you need to pay using either PayPal or a similar system or a debit or credit card. Don't forget that your monthly fee is an ongoing fee.

There is a system to use WA credits to pay for premium membership. It just been implemented. You can check under pay yearly subscription. There are 3 options now instead of 2.

I think Yes, we can use that however you can raise ticket with support that give you the correct ans

Raise ticket to which support? As what I see here is site support and community support
