It seems that you are allowing people to sign up to be a user, aka contributer to your website?
Unless you have a membership site or guest bloggers, you do not want this. Go into your WP settings and turn this feature off. Make this sure this option is unchecked. And delete any unwanted users who may have access to your site.
Thanks for that Kim. That was the case. Not sure why the box was ticked unless it is part of my theme.
Kind regards Wiebren

After I summit my comment on a website the page goes white. Most of the time there is no problem, but this morning it happened twice. I am using an iPad. Any solutions would be
Have you noted the web url. Sometimes this happens to me but it appears that your comment is being moderated (checked out). Next time it happens, leave the site and check back later to see if it has appeared. Or make a note to the website's owner, stating what has happened or get them to let you know if it has appeared on their site.
The page seems to load the comment, then stays white. I've contacted the site owners, they don't see the message.
That leaves me out! Contact Site Support. I sometimes get odd things and it turns out to be at the other end.
I noticed that certain websites must use a plugin that makes it nearly impossible to leave a comment. One of those is one that had a captcha thing to prove you were human. Then I couldn't leave feedback at all. I don't remember if the page turned white or not, just remember that it was impossible to add a comment!
Best wishes,
Karin :)
I use my iPad quite a bit, as well, and find it's pretty compatible to what we do for WA.
Best wishes,
Karin :)
Thanks for the reply. Nothing to do with captcha's. Some sites work, others don't. This is the third time it has happened in the last few weeks. Not sure if the website has the problem or if it is my end.

1. How do I create a link to an external webpage.
2. How do I create a link to an other article on my blog?
I am using an IPad.
Thanks in advance.
OK... so you can do this a couple of ways:
1) Type out the text you want to be a link then highlight that text and click the little chain link looking icon at the top of the screen and select Insert Link. In the URL field type or paste in the URL you want the link to go to for an external page. You see that your highlighted text is already in the text field. Check the box if you want the link to open in a new window or tab when the user clicks on it and click Insert.
2) Click in your post where you want the link to be...lick the little chain link looking icon at the top of the screen and select Insert Link. In the URL field type or paste in the URL you want the link to go to for an external page. Type the text you want the link to be in the text field. Check the box if you want the link to open in a new window or tab when the user clicks on it and click Insert.
3) Repeat step 1 or 2 but instead of putting anything in the URL field select your web site from the Choose a Website button and then find the URL you want the link to reference in the list that pops up and click use this link then click Insert.
First question..where are you creating the links: Site Content or after the articles are published and you're now editing from the site itself?

Excellent. That will stop those notifications. Glad this was helpful.
