I already had my website created and "out there" I suppose. I have now inserted keyword phrases in title, tag, body of 1st paragraph of home page (my 1st page). But since I have done all this after the initial website was created it looks like your article is saying Google and etc have already taken a look at my site and since my keywords were basically missing Google and others have already dismissed my website for visibility.

Since I have 2+ websites I can use, should I move everything over to a 2nd website (just changing the title a little)? I guess it wouldn't be too much trouble (but alas I am pretty slow at this stuff). Is it easy to do and is this my best solution?

You mustn't change your title.
You can change the article headline though. Get your keyword into it.

If you have your Main Keyword as part of your title and in the first sentence of your article then I wouldn't change that part.

Your Title has become your Permalink and that is what the search engines will index and rank you on.

What you can do is work on your Home Page Content.

Follow the advice in my article and get those secondary keywords within your content (make sure they make sense).

After you have done this and you're happy with it you can reschedule to publish again and the search engines will crawl (spider) it again as a new site.

Oh, yeah. I guess you mean on my gmail. By the way, that field/box is filled in on all my pages - like with home, about me, contact, etc. That is the only place the box shows "nothing found".

Log into your site through site manager then you can just click on "New Post" at the top to add a post. If you follow the lessons they should easily guide you through the process. Don't skip ahead.

Thanks, but I don't want to add a page. If you would open my website you will see what I mean at what immediately comes up. There is a box that says in it "nothing found". I need to know how to type something in it. It doesn't let me just put my cursor in and type something.

I have seen your page.
That message is not a box you need to fill in.
That message is from it trying to find a page or a post to show. Since it cannot find anything it gives that message instead of the title of a page or post that would normally be found there.

So is there a way to just eliminate the page and then just go straight to home page when open the site?

If your theme allows a static front page you can do this.

To set the Home page as front page.

1. Set a Static Front Page

Launch the Site Customizer and click on the Static Front Page tab on the left.
Select the Static Page option, then choose your new page from the Front Page drop down.


2. Save your changes

Click on the Save & Publish button to save your static page settings.

I created the 20 allowed keywords in Jaaxy. Is there something I have to do to have them operate correctly for my website? Or if you can just point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Usually the keywords are used to find an idea to create content for your website.

I may not be being clear about what I expect. I can see all my 5 tab/pages I have created (about me, home, etc). But I don't see the theme I selected. Figured it would be showing that theme in the background of every page or something. I have done what you suggested many times and it brings up a format with green bars in different places, though it does list my tab/pages near top. But those, when clicked on, still show that ugly green bar type screen.

Sorry about that, first thing, I know it may sound obvious, but when you downloaded the theme did you activate it, you need to do this for the theme to appear.

If it's a visual thing that your referring to all new word press themes start out as a blank canvass, unless they have a pre-programmed demo running. So you will need to add your design features to the theme in order for them to show up.

If you go to appearance from within the dashboard menu and then choose customise, you will then see options to add images to the theme, edit menus, widgets, colours basically anything that is visually editable.

Hoping this is what you were after.

My black background dashboard has Appearance, Customize. but then it doesn't offer Upgrade to Pro, Theme Info, or General Setup.. It says to install the Kirki plugin so I did. Other two I have are the SEO Pack and Exclude Pages from Navigation if that is of any help. There is a note that says "WordPress 4.7 is available! Please update now.? Is that the reason for differences in the dashboard - do I need to update it?

Ok, what I am going to try and do is I have my 2 site-rubix sites freed up now so I will create a dummy site using this theme and try and get familiar with it. Once I am in a position where I know how it works as all themes are different as I am sure you are aware by now, then I will put together another video for you and this time you will see me adding images etc... from scratch and hopefully we will get to the bottom of this for you and get you up and running.

It may take me a little while to get back to you as I am working this afternoon and then again tomorrow morning, I then have a family function tomorrow afternoon/evening, so it may be Sunday before I have the video completed. Doing pretty good on this. Took me a long while but I managed to add a simple, moderate, and more complex drawing at the bottom of the AutoCAD Layouts page.
I was wondering if I could change the color of the green box right below the title bar (which is in black when turned on)? Or just get rid of the green box? (I am referring to the green box that repeats the name of the page - the page name in the row of page names lights up in the same green color when you put the cursor over it).

Really good to hear that your getting to grips with the website, sounds like you will be teaching me a thing or two with the AutoCad layouts.

As far as colours go they are pretty stingy with the options that they give you for editing them. You are only able to edit the links that reside below the blog title and that is it. I did hav a look and it suggest that any other colour that you want to edit will require upgrading to pro which is pretty poor in my opinion.

As for deleting the box you mentioned, I don't think you can in its present state as it is part of the theme styling, maybe there is an option to do this, but I couldn't find it, again you may be able to find one in the upgrade.

The only thing that I can suggest is that your particular them has very limited options for the free version, Rather than spending money, it may be worthwhile experimenting with a few other themes as you have a couple of thousand to choose from. The work you have done already won't be lost, you may just have to re-position some bits in the new theme. Also, if it doesn't work out you can always return to this theme, so there is nothing to lose.

Thanks. I'll play around with it. I did from practically the start get what I think is the Wealthy Affiliate Pro, unless that was actually the Business Pro. $19/month. So don't know what that does for me.

I think you might be getting confused with your WA membership which is the one that initially starts at $19 per month.

The word press themes are completely separate, the Business Pro theme that you are using I think if I remember rightly has the option to upgrade to the full version for $30.
