#18 Prospecting Tips:
PROSPECTING TIPS:
I use Facebook & Twitter.
I monitor conversations happen there.
I look for people that are talking about what I have to offer. I don't try to "GET" them or 'SELL' them. I just build a 'Relationship' with them.
Then I use "Attraction Marketing" to get 'Them' to come to me. I don't want to be the "Hunter". I want to be the "Hunted". With proper "Posture" they will come to you, asking for your help.
I start a Conversation & Relationship Building with questions like:
“What would you like more of or What would you like less of in your life?” - [and just listen].
“Do you want to do something about it now?”
Then ask "Them" if they have a Plan.
Find out what they want & suggest the next step. Then ask if 'They’ would like to see your Plan… Good conversation starter.
I use "4-STEP-PROSPECTING":
1. “Are you seriously looking or just curious?”
* If they are just curious, get them on you List; offer your Newsletter.
2. * If they are serious > “What have you tried so far?”
3. “How did that work-out for you?” (this is the moment of CONFESSION) “So, what are you working on right now?” “I have something that might interest you.”
4. “Do you have time now, to take a look?” “Great, when would be a good time?” “Sounds like you want to do some more research… let me get you on my Newsletter, which may really help you.”
If someone responds to one of your Ads or contacts you, say: “Great, what can I do for you?” Then go thru the 4 steps above.
If they try to “Posture” you & try to “Sell” you, say: “That sounds really great… I’m focused on something right now… If there is ever something I can help you with, let me know.” (That “Postures” you back in control & makes them curious about what you’re doing… that’s “Attraction Marketing”… they may come back to you & you can use the 4 steps above.)
That's kind-of a brief outline.

Very informative indeed. I have not tried marketing through fb or tweeter, but i will do your advice and see how it goes. I do like it better when people come to you instead of you trying to hunt them.
I also find that using linked In is an effective prospecting channel as well, because you have so many different discussion groups and people looking for business opportunities as well. Its become a major business networking and self advertising hub, that I highly recommend. You can talk about the things your doing on your profile and set up Wa links and bannersl product information and get to know other like minded individuals.

I am socially inept, with regard to G+, FB, Pinterest, Twitter. I need all of the help I can get.

Thanks for sharing this good information. I need to learn how to communicate with people on Twitter and Facebook.
Knowing what to say is at times are very difficult.
