Hi everyone!

I've been consistently posting my Amazon affiliate links on my website in relevant posts. I am now wondering if it is allowed to post the same affiliate li

As everyone said here Walter, the key is to follow both Amazon’s own affiliate program guidelines and the terms of service of each social media platform you're using.

Yes you can but with an affiliate disclosure.

Hi - do be aware that you cannot shorten or cloak Amazon affiliate links, it is against their terms and conditions.

And you would need to add your social media details to the account settings in your Amazon account.

Yup, read up on the community standards of the social media platform and what you can or cannot do.

If you share it on social media platforms, I would shorten it with pretty links before sharing, as some platforms don't like affiliate links shared raw as is.

However, what would be more feasible is to write a post, include your affiliate links, and share your post on social media platforms.

Alternatively, you could use plugins such as Grow Social or Social Rocket.

Plugins and add new, input keywords, install, and activate.

You can add the hashtag #ad. That would replace your disclosure :)

Great, thanks for the helpful info!

Np, Walther and you're welcome :)

Hi!

I am trying to join two affiliate programs on CJ. One of them has now been pending approval for more than a month. The other just gets rejected immediately based on

It sounds frustrating to have one application pending for so long and the other being rejected without clear reasons. Sometimes, it can take a while for merchants to review and approve applications due to various reasons like high volume or internal processes. However, if it's been more than a month, it's understandable that you're feeling stuck. I would too!

Without knowing the exact product/service you are trying to promote, may I suggest that you try to reach their support forums maybe or try to find a dedicated contact form on their websites where you can inquire about your application status.

Hang in there, and I hope you receive some positive news soon!

Thanks Denis!

Not at problem 😉 Anytime!!

Hey Walter!

I am not currently a full member of CJ but i did find these guidelines they look for.

Check your site against those requirements and you should be able to pin point where you are falling short.

Social Engagement & Marketing

Hi everyone! I am currently in a phase where I am starting to leverage social media to increase the traffic to my site.

I would like to put "follow" buttons for my Face

Hi Walter!

Great to hear about your efforts in leveraging social media to boost traffic to your site.

Regarding your query about "follow" and "share" buttons, I actually take a different approach.

Instead of using share buttons on my site, I create a post on each social media platform (like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and newer ones like Google's Keen and Thread) for every article I write. This helps me tailor the message for each platform and audience.

I tend to stay away from plugins and share buttons for several reasons. The main one, as Brenda pointed out, is that some plugins can really slow down your website.

By manually posting to social media, I maintain more control over how my content is presented and avoid potential issues with site performance.

Hope this helps, and best of luck with your site!

Denis

Don't even bother with Sassy Social plugin it will slow your speed down I had to remove it. Best way is to create an element -social media follow icon on block editor you can research that. I wouldn't pay for any plugins save your money. Find a way to create one without a plugin there are many YouTube videos that show you how.

Some themes may already have a social menu set up in the Appearance > Menus or Customize section. You only need to input your accounts, which will appear on your website.

Alternatively, you may also add them to the block editor, in your pages and posts.

Grow social by MediaVine.
