They are not real people with honest intentions. Please don't keep them on your website or your email list. You sending emails out to spammers (which is what they are) will only result in you receiving heaps more spam emails. Shawn Martin has given you the instructions to prevent it from happening again.

Delete them, change your settings in Dashboard > settings > general Settings > Uncheck the "anyone can register" box and then scroll down and click save settings :)

I realize that, not every free plugin is a good plugin and for something like adding eBay or Amazon links to your website, this should be done manually and both ebay and Amazon will provide you with tools to do this.

You definitely DO NOT need a plugin for this.

So now I will work with EBay and try to figure this out today. Wish me Luck please!

Go to Ebay Affiliates.

Log in to the website & search for the product which you want.

You should be given a link to that product under yr affiliate link.

Put that link anywhere in your post or website which you think visitors has the highest chance of clicking on.

Thanks for the advice. I did the Google Webmaster already and have the xml file in there, but that bot keeps dinging me. Oh Well, I will keep an eye on it.

Here's my permanent solution to verification for ALL places that want it How to Verify Your Website With Google, Yahoo & Bing Using FTP

Every time bot crawls your site, it checks if it is still your site, when it cannot find verification code it asks to re-verify.

Did you happen to update your theme ? you will lose all customization when theme updates.

I've used method with placing an xml file in my httpdocs folder via FTP, and my site is verified for a month now (not sure how long it will last)

I also turned off any other ways of verification (like in AIO SEO) to be sure that nothing will mess up this file.
