Why Content Based Websites Convert Higher Than Visual Based Sites
In my personal experience, visual based websites often distract people from reading your content which is what we ultimately want them to focus on to get them to convert into sales. Visuals have their roles in websites, but in my experience when used seldom in the right propertions (10%-20% of the time to enhance the content, not distract from it).

Because I am so new to all this Vitality I couldn’t give an opinion of agreement or disagreement. However, for me personally, if I ever follow click bait and end up on a site with videos playing adds flipping back and forth as I try to read what I thought I wanted to read (grabbed me from a good headline) I usually don’t even finish reading the article and leave the site as it is extremely frustrating when the page continues to jump back and forth making you loose your spot so much so that you have scroll back to the top to even find where you were at in the article because of all the movement going on.
Yeah great example Randy and I can completely relate both as a browser and marketer on this with regards to scrolling and seeing ads

So true... same goes for ads and all kind of popups or cookie banners without end...
🏆🦾
It depends on the context of the ads and how often it's shown but there is a balance in that case.
Yes, indeed... no rule
