When to Delete Pinterest Pins From Your Boards
As we make more and more pins and organize them into boards, some will perform well while others won't overtime (we're talking a few months). Think of the bad ones piling up as clutter we need to clear our.
It's important when that time passes to do a bit of a clean up of your boards and delete the pins which aren't doing well to leave space for those that are, and keeping that process going so eventually your boards only have good performing pins. This helps with impressions, clicks and ultimately traffic coming to your website.

Makes sense Vitaliy.
Is this the same process for older posts that aren’t performing on our websites? Periodically I’ll go and revamp older posts, changing some content or titles.
That's a bit more tricky and in most cases I wouldn't erase posts. Pins are a different story.
Hi Vitaliy,
I have an abandoned Pinterest account with 2.4k followers, and I’m looking to revive it. I was wondering what to do with all the old pins, and your post provided all the answers I needed—thank you so much for that!
All the best,
Boris
