Is Pinterest Gaining on Google? Why This is Important
In a recent article that came out (link), reports are coming in that not only is Pinterest continuing to grow with the number of people who use it, but it is also gaining on Google in that more and more people (specifically Gen Z) are preferring to use Pinterest > Google.
I've made a ton of videos on Pinterest and growing there and am seriously growing one of the main branches of my business through this platform and continue to push that everyone here do the same, especially if your niche/topic focus deals with any of the major topics people (women mainly) find interesting within Pinterest.

Ciao Vitality,
thanks for the article! I have this question for you.
Gnerally, when I post video pins, I see less engagement than normal photo pins, and this article seems to confirm my data.
Have you had the same experience with video pins too?
Since I have implemented Jay's strategy and the tips you provide, I can see a serious increase in traffic on my Pinterest account, my website and affiliate links.
I can confirm that what you mention in this video is accurate.
Thanks again for everything, Vitaliy! Keep posting!
I've been very surprised at the recent activity on Pinterest and how it's gaining in popularity.
I've had my account for a few years but rarely used it as Pinterest didn't align with my business model - I'm a business and wealth strategy coach and also sell digital products.
A few weeks ago, I noticed the monthly views were up on my account to 93. Surprised, I decided to start creating a pin for each blog I write. Last week the views were at 318 and today views are 487.
There is definitely a shift happening with Pinterest and I shall keep posting pins while views continue going up - anything that helps get me in front of potential customers.
That's awesome and I would take that as a sign to start putting in the work on Pinterest to scale that.

Hi Vitaliy, I have a web site that is based on Small Business Planning. In one of your videos you had said that business topics have the most success by posting on LInkedin. I started with Pinterest but focused on Linkedin. What do you think?
That's totally fine. You can cross check on both platforms and see what results you get but generally speaking, LinkedIn is better for business niches, while Pinterest is better for women centered topics/niches, typically dealing with photogenic type content (nails, hair, travel, etc...).
That's what I thought but I wanted to check. Thanks.
