Are you writing quality or garbage content? Writers can't often see the difference.

I see many people in WA who are not seeing the kind of success they want on their websites. Sometimes, many times even, I get PM's from people asking me to look over their page and it's usually prefaced by them saying how hard they worked on it.

Then when I open up the page, I see a few articles or even many written up in a way that looks like sleazy selling or just cheap content written in a way that shows me that the only thing they want to do is make money.

If you read blogs often, you will likely have already developed a sense of noticing when this is taking place vs blogs/sites where when you read the content, you're captivated by it.

And this is a difference many bloggers simply cannot distinguish between. They think by writing a lot of content is enough to actually make that content make sales.

As WA training has pointed out, you are not writing for search engines, you are writing for PEOPLE. If they read garbage content, they will click away. If they read good content, they will stay and trust you, it's really that simple.

It's one of the reasons why WA training suggest choosing a niche topic that you actually like. Let me give you an example:

Garbage content:

"I had knee problems for a long time, then I found this great supplement that fixed me right up! Get it here."

And basically the bulk of content written up on the same person's site just sounds like that. They aren't helping anyone, they aren't providing evidence, it just sounds like they're trying to sell you stuff...

Good content:

"I know a whole LOT about what it's like to have knee problems. I've had it to for so and so years. I know the feeling of waking up and dreading to get out of bed in fear of having that influx of pain enter the knee and I worry about how I'm going to get through the day, every day.

I have had numerous things help me out with this problem over the years. Here's some you should take a look at:

(offer up free things that HELP).

But the one thing I will say helped me more than anything was this one suppelment which after a month of taking, I started seeing a difference. Here's what happened:

Document your experiences in as much detail as possible."

THIS IS considered good content.

So please guys, be honest with yourselves. If you're writing garage content, call yourself out on it and fix it. You are only helping your business and other people for that matter in doing so!

Absolutely right.

Very helpful advice for those new to writing website content. Telling their story, or giving advice as they would speak it, contributes greatly to making content believable

Thank you! I enjoy helping others. I will focus on this!

This is a great reminder of the training and great information in general. I think I'm writing decent content but I will go back and review...

Just in case :)

Thanks for posting Vitaliy

On Site Comments have come across a few sloppy ones myself. I know we can tweak it up every now and again as we grow and learn but starting out with the incentive to help is better than trying to rip off.

Great post and I really enjoyed reading it. And you have to write good content. Right now I am struggling with writing this piece on bonded pets with each other and I am having problems putting it into words. I am working on it. Anyway garbage content is not worth two cents it has to be good with the passion that you say you have for this niche.

Thank you. This is really helpful for a newbie like me starting out. Truly I want to help people. Yes like everyone else, I want to earn revenue, but it is important for me to help others and also write good content.

Great post, thanks!

Great post Vitaliy once again! Helping out others with your content is essential and we should always keep this in mind.

Excellent post man! You hit the nail on the head! Write for your readers and not Google and relate on a human level with your readers by giving examples of how so and so effects you and how so and so helped you, it really does work like a champ!
