My Google Analytics Account Results

I was reading about bounce rate today when I discovered 7 easy ways to keep you readers on your Website. I’ll be share those in just a moment, but first I’d like to speak about my Google Analytics account since creating my newest website launch.

Honestly speaking, I’ve never seen anything like it and I’ve been working online since the early 90’s. By following everything exactly as WA has it laid out I have seen some days with 100 sessions and this is a brand-new site at this point. I’m also way happy with the time people are sending on my site.

Thanks, Wealthy Affiliate. Thank you for giving me an organized path I could traverse and thanks for making it possible for everyone equally. This is no time for a Christopher Columbus voyage, I needed results and WA delivered.

But honestly Wealthy Affiliate didn’t do that. Don’t get me wrong here. WA did provide a roadmap for results like that to happen. But only my sheer determination and constant implementation of what I have learned from Wealthy Affiliate has caused those results to transpire.

The cool part is that organic results haven’t even begun to come in yet. Minus the time I searched for my own site, found it on Google and clicked the link. However, it is not going to be extremely profitable for me to be the only one finding my site which is why I’m waiting for everything to start kicking in.

But why am I telling you all this?

That is easy. Even though I probably have a vast amount more experience than most on WA, I’ve done nothing special here. My early, out of the gate, results are very repeatable.

In fact, they are repeatable by you.

And when things start taking off you want to know that you have done everything possible to foster an environment where people are glad to stay on your site. To that end, keep reading and let’s empower your results for success.

1. Internal Backlinks: Kyle does good training on this during his certification courses. People get the idea that they need backlinks and so they think it must be from other sites. While I certainly wouldn’t discredit that idea, you can also build a very powerful internal backlinking system right within your own website. I recommend it.
2. Video Inclusions: If you have a brief video for people to watch which takes them through some special part of the topic you have gold. They’ve arrived at your page long enough to scan it. Get them involved in a video presentation and they will stay even longer.
3. Empower Graphics: Meme’s, infographics and more all seem to be of great import to people on the web today. There are complete social media sites that are dedicated to this concept (i.e. Pinterest & Instagram).
4. Readable Content: Avoid long paragraphs, use sub-heads have lists and bullets. If you’ve been around this field for long you’ve heard the mantra. There is a good reason why too. Simply put, they work for keeping your reader’s attention and they work great.
5. Related Posts: Make sure your visitors have ample opportunity to be able to navigate around your site. When they find content that they are interested in, it is likely that they will also be interested in other similar content. Give them the opportunity to access that content and keep their interest far longer.
6. Engaged Comments: Until WA I always had trouble getting comments. Most were spam. Some I responded too. I have learned as part of my WA training that it is critical to respond to all comments as well as seek out high quality feedback from your users. One of the best ways of doing this is by asking them questions that they would be interested in answering.
7. What’s Your Answer: We always have room to grow and that is especially true as it relates to myself.
