How can I add images to a post that I have already published?

When I find the images in the site content are of WA I cannot save them on my desktop and it asks me for a

Hi .. Here is Kyle's less within the core training on adding images: Once you have already published however, all edited will need to be done directly in wordpress. Unfortunately we do not have access to WAs image library from wordpress though. The following blog contains several sites you can find free images and also a work around for using WAs images after publishing: Hope that helps!
Best, Shannon

Thanks Shannon. That explains why I had trouble trying to access images in WA and adding them to the published post. I will follow the advice you have provided and make sure that future posts have images in them before publishing. It was my first post as a newbie and without images! I'm learning!!

Many thanks

Vincent

I actually find it easier to add images after publishing. I have always written my content and published it and then went back in to add any images and links within wordpress edit. I have found image placement and sizing to be more precise in wordpress than in site content.

Hi - here is a workaround to add images from Site Content to your media library in WordPress.

Open up a "pretend" post in Site Content. Add as many images to it as you like. Now click publish. Immediately, log in to WordPress and delete this post. The post will be gone, but the images will have been added to your media library, ready to use whenever you want.

Wow! That's brilliant. It sounds like magic!! I'll do what you say and thank you. I'm really grateful.

Vincent

If you have a saved image from site content and want to place on your computer just right click the image and select "save as" then you can placed it in a folder of your choice there.
Once done when on your website click add media and you can then download that image from your computer to where you want in on your post. Hope that helps

Andre

That helps a lot. Thank you Andre.

You are most welcome enjoy the rest of your week.

Hey I am Lula.
I place them in a new document and publish if I picked them up from site content library or I add them directly to my site back office.
Wishing you a terrific day.

Thank you. I will use that advice.

Have a great day too.

Vincent

Once you've published an article on your website, any future editing, adding photos, etc. must be done on your WordPress website - not on Site Content.

Hi Vincent
Have you joined any affiliate programs within CommissionJunction and Rakutsen Advertising? It might easier to think of RA and CJ as affiliate program search engines - they contain websites that have affiliate programs.
So, you'll need to scan the contents of both websites to find affiliate programs to join.
Hope that helps

I understand now. Your explanation made it clear what I need to do. Thanks for reaching out to help. Vincent

No problem Vincent - any time
