Are You Stuck?
Happy Tuesday everyone here at Wealthy Affiliate. As I go through most of the training videos and Bootcamps here in WA, I still feel like I'm not making much money. The major problem right now is how do I get more traffic to my blog?
We all know that traffic is the main ingredients to success if you want to make money. But how do we manage to get more traffic? Is anyone here feeling the same way as I'm?
What other methods can we use to gain more traffic and conversions? If you're stuck, please ask Kyle or wealthy affiliate members or the ambassadors to help you. Never Give up!

From my experience, building a solid SEO-enabled, content-rich website is the first priority. Tons of traffic won't do you any good if visitors do not stay on your site, let alone return.
Once you have your website established. Then look at other traffic sources.
At this point, I have not promoted my website since I am still working on content. Nor am I worried about traffic. It will come.
I thought of advertising in local newspapers, but the cost is enormous. I might have to resort to Social Media, which I have neglected earlier in my website building.
You can advertise on craigslist and other free advertising websites. But the traffic you get from those are not much. I'm doing all that right now.
SEO of course is just one strategy as you may know by now. Plus you have over a decade of competitors doing the exact same thing, promoting wealthy affiliate.
I would suggest researching other marketing strategies to use in this endeavor. Not use something someone else's suggesting but something you find that will help you in the best sense.
I was told by many members not to even attempt promoting wealthy affiliate because of this huge competition. And yes it took over two years for me to start making any money . Working full time and 7 days per week.
It is not that it cannot be done. It is that it is difficult to do. In fact I had to change my direction completely as using SEO, for me did not work very well .
I now market wealthy affiliate through an extensive email marketing funnel and use solo ads to add over 20 referrals per day .
Nice! That's the direction I was planning to go. Buying traffic and solo ads. But it will be costly.
Thanks for the inspirational quote and my only suggestion is keep adding content!
Regards, Lisa
I think content is a must, but Content with no traffic is a disaster. There are lots of amazing bloggers out there that writes very well. You must write something very unique or different in order to get great shares and views.
Thank you, Vince!
I'm an absolute greenhorn on all things Bootcamp, but a thought popped to mind, although I'm sure you're already doing this:
Do you write many guest reviews on other sites, and are able to lead back to you?
Have a great Tuesday,
Therese
I actually have written comments and reviews on youtube relating to our niche but it's still not bringing much traffic. Plus I only have 15 posts so far to push out daily and they're probably bored of it or have read it all by now. We need a new game plan!
Have you tried linked-in and instagram?
I like your niche approach actually, so much to discuss there.....
I have not because I'm already having a hard time keeping up with Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. I'm running out of posts to post about that leads to my blog. That's where the problem is.
People want to be engaged, with you, this is where the work starts. It is all about giving, my blog attracts around 2,000+ people per month, and even then I have only just started to work out how to monetise my site and I know it's going to take at least 6 months for it to start paying e anything I can call an income because I haven't figured out what I can give these people.
Thanks Jan I am just holidaying in the UK...lol! I wasn't even born in the UK! I know you're joking....lol!
