It's an addition to my yesterday's post on mnemonics.Answers to yesterday's riddles(to those who noticed them), and also some new useful things to remember.

Typically, it went like this: ROY G. BV
So we change it to ROY G. BIV. It sounds better and it's more true to life.

Even such subjects like Biochemistry can be learned with the help of visual mnemonics.
A very good way to memorise vocabulary:

Lidocaine can be really toxic to some people.
Create an absurd funny sentence including the information you want to memorise.
An introduction into Russian. Russian phrase "I love you" ("Я люблю Вас") distantly resembles the phrase "Yellow blue bus" in pronunciation( Very distantly...:)
He tries to use mnemonics...
This man doesn't even try..
You may want to create your own mnemonics to memorise this valuable information which can literally save somebody's life.

I'd like to see a Russian school bus! Actually indigo doesn't fit to well in the color wheel. You'd have to have a yellow-orange counterpart to be in balance!
I can't argue with a person who has a technical education, but to my knowledge, both light blue and dark blue(indigo) go into the rainbow spectrum. In Russian mnemophrase there are 7 colours, not 6.Maybe I am not right.
About the bus.
Я люблю вас (jalubluvas ) sounds a bit like "yellow blue bus" :)

This reminds me of Assembly Language in computer programming, where they use mnemonic codes to substitute for machine language.
