Writing Every Day
One of the hardest things to do, I think, is come up with new ideas everyday.
The only way to overcome this is to write. This is what I'm doing now. Because I know at some point my brain will kick in with something.
I know the experts say do some research and that'll get your juices flowing, I'm one of them that suggests that. But, sometimes I don't feel like doing that. Then I make the suggestion of typing in keywords into Jaxxy and seeing what alternatives Jaxxy will come up with, I don't feel like doing that either.
So, I just type what is going on in my brain and as you can see...not a lot!
When you're at an impasse, the only way to get of that is to do something. By that I mean, something that'll work towards your business goals, not some random thing like having a coffee or cleaning up.
If these are your office hours, then stick to them, it only gets easier.
I know because I've been there, so, in writing this post I'm getting the old grey cells to do their work. It's been quite a while since I've done any serious writing.
My brain has kicked in, I'm going to work on some branding and finish a logo I've been creating for my brand.
I hope this helps some of you out there to get on with the work at hand - this is a job you've chosen to do, no-one is making you do this.
All success to you!

I came to an impasse last week!
Rather than worrying and desperately searching for ideas on what to write, I just changed tact. Sorted out a load of admin, keyword logs, accounts , organised folders etc.
Whilst doing this admin , I was checking old posts and generally searching the web for templates etc. I came up with new ideas as part of the process. But again instead of just jumping straight onto them, I simply made a note.
Two days away from writing and I came up with 10 ideas for new posts, just by being natural and letting it happen.
Great post! .. Thank you
Great post, Michael! We all experience writer's block on occasion! My mind is constantly whirring with ideas!

I've been struggling a bit with writing recently, but then ideas just suddenly came in and I'm currently writing a review and have written down the other ideas that popped into my head as well as ways to add more video content to my YouTube channel.
You're right though, sometimes just writing will suddenly kick creative juices and soon you'll have more ideas for content to keep you busy writing.
I write in a journal in the morning trying to create new habits. I now added a gratitude journal to that also. I do about 1000 words a day doing that. Now to get that over to here.
I find that stuff on Facebook, grab them and sooner or later I find a use for them. Post them on my wall, give them to friends. You rock. :)

Thank you for the reminder, Michael.
So, I'll just write.
I remember starting off here at WA just mainly knowing how to correspond through email and text.
I now know how to create websites.

[ I like Jaaxy ]
I'm about to finish level 3 where I write about keywords and introduce Jaaxy.
