It's Already An Amazing Day.

I mean, I am a positive person and the glass is always and I mean always half full but even so, we're not even halfway through and it's already an amazing day.

I totally forgot the main reason for the post and have added it to the end but don't worry, it's only a short one today, I'm in training, nudge nudge, wink wink. (Really loses quite a bit in the written form)

I say that but it's also been slightly manic, I had intended to start writing this morning at around nine and it's now five past three, no matter, I'm here now.

So much in such a small space of time. I still have a few posts to catch up on but I'll get to them, so fret not.

Yesterday, my eldest had a 'snotty' letter off the 'boys in blue' stating that although they'd received payment for an endorsement, they hadn't had the license. Furnish the goods within seven days or else.

Well, guess what ? I had already sent all the documents myself and did so by recorded delivery, just in case. Except, could I find the receipt ? Of course I couldn't. I did think I could go to the post office and see if they could do a reprint, except that it's closed for refurbishment, really ?

So I sent them a polite email, alluding to the 'fact' that I had sent the items by recorded mail and assumed that this was an 'oversight'. I had a reply within the hours telling me that the license has already been processed and was on it's way back. Ha, sorted.

It is uncanny how many of these type of letters arrive on a Friday, with most not being able to open them until after work and then not being able to contact anyone, as the sender's are shut over the weekend. Anyway, I've put that one to bed.

Whilst looking for the missing receipt, I found two old iPhones that I had completely forgotten about. They both have faults but not major ones, nothing that a couple of screens and a charging port won't remedy. Bonus.

They weren't the only surprise 'find', there was this.

Something else I had completely forgotten about, a rather nice 1TB hard drive and it just so happens that I have a spare slot for it to go in. Boom.

It doesn't stop there. Through the post this morning, there was this.

That's right, this is the graphics card that will allow me to have a second monitor. The second monitor will be a major time saver. The side project requires some video work and it will be much easier if I have the use of two screens. Whoop.

Looks like a job for the morning. Talking of mornings (nudge), I almost forgot, I had another referral come through. Kapow. Also, for the first time, they have added a profile picture. Epic.

Like I said, so far it's been an amazing day and tonight, well, who knows what might happen. Crazy. Hope you're having an amazing day as well.
