Hey y'all! My name is Stephanie. I've 20 years old and from Toronto, Canada.
I began a small home-based business retailing teen apparel 4.5 years ago and am currently getting started in the real estate investing business - buying and renting multi-family units.
I spent last year as a volunteer in Moscow, Russia doing religious outreach and am now home getting back to 'normal'.
I have a passion for travel and photography and would love to do something with that...
I'm here because right now, I haven't gotten anything saved up (thank G-d for joint venture partners) and my business is pretty much paying for itself and my expenses ie. travel, 'toys', etc... So I'd love to take advantage of the technology that's anyway here and utilize it for online business - where I don't have to physically be present during 'hours' and don't have to pay a secretary for that either...
And, that's where I'm at :-)
Update Oct 17, 2013
I'm now 21 and currently living in Palo Alto, CA working as an extra-curricular program director in a (relatively) new all-girls high school right here. As we are a boarding school, I'm also 'dorm mom' to 4 lovely teenage girls :-) I absolutely love my job, but it keeps me super busy, so keeping up with WA is a challenge, but a challenge I'm enjoying...
I've dabbled here a bit and I think I'm still trying to really find my niche. I'm great at coming up with new ideas, and implementing them, but not so great at the details and keeping up with updating all my websites... So, it's all a work in progress, but hopefully, I will have a financial success update real soon!
Update March 23, 2014
I finally have an idea of where I want to go with my website and I'm really excited moving forward! I am working on a 100 day plan to build my website, traffic, monetize it and share it with the world. And then you can use me as an example of a true WA success story ;-)
Update Feb 21, 2016
Yup, it's been nearly 2 years since my last update. Lots of changes in my personal life and a whole new outlook on my career.
I'm a super logical person and when a business venture makes sense from a financial perspective, I tend to go all in. However, what I've finally realized in the last couple months is that I care more about doing something I enjoy than making more money in an area I don't. I need to be passionate about what I'm working on.
As a perfectionist, having come to that realization and acknowledging that a few projects that I've invested a lot of time, effort and money in are really not the right ones for me, hurt. But with letting go of those ventures, I've opened up my heart and mind to focus on those that I am truly passionate about.
I love what WA has to offer, so I won't be leaving any time soon, but I also won't be spending a lot of time here... And that's totally ok. Each individual has to do what's best for them...
I'm still available for answering questions, so feel free to PM me...

I've been away from WA for a while as my 'regular' job has become my priority and now that I'm back, I'm going to change what I've been doing till now and I'm going to follow Jay's niche website case study and try one of my own.
As I only have a couple hours a day to work on it, I'm going to give myself a full month to build out the site and in the long run I hope it'll generate a few hundred dollars per month...

Excellent Stephanie, I know you will achieve your goals. As you start seeing more progress and results, you will be able to spend more time on your business.
When I started out online, I had limited time because I was in school full time and I was able to achieve "full time" status within the online business world in a year. I totally understand that we all have "time" issues in life, but I absolutely know you can do the same and accomplish the same sort of success!
Take action on the training here, immerse yourself within the community, and ask for help when you need it. This is your sure path to your own personal goals and successes Stephanie! :)

Thanks for the follow. I want to travel and do photography as well. I went to Macedonia last year and fell in love with the people and the culture and the beauty of the country itself.
