What Is The Point Of Followers? Why Do I Keep Getting Them?

Basically following somebody is a sign that you want to see their stuff and get notifications when they blog new posts or training etc.

It does get used as a kind of "follow me and i'll follow you system" but there is not really much benefit to this. There WAS a period where number of followers helped boost your rank, but it got exploited by various black hat WA rank lovers and the algorithm was changed.

Follow somebody if you think they are interesting.

Wait. Rank? What?

Basically your "rank" is a metric of how active you are at WA and how enganging you are. Being engaged, creating quality content, joining in with discussions, and following people in the hope that they follow you back, will all contribute to your rank improving. The video above will explain some of the benefits of a high rank.

***Please. Please. Please. Do not create blog posts or training just for the sake of improving your rank***

Can I Refer My Friend To WA Using The Same Computer?

Sorry, some people used to create fake referrals so now it is not possible to do this. If you do, the system will automatically ban you from referring and you won't get credit. If it happens by mistake, send a message to Kyle or Carson.

Why Won't You Answer My Questions?

Usually this happens when somebody tries to ask a question in chat. Maybe chat is busy and the question gets missed, maybe nobody there knows the answer at the time, maybe there IS nobody there at the time (not very likely.)

The best thing to do is create a blog post, a discussion, or ask in chat when you see some of the high ranked people are there. Do not worry, nobody is ignoring you!

If I Am Premium And I Go Back To "Free" Membership, Do I Lose My Sites?

Ok first of all you can't go back from Premium membership to free. Otherwise everyone would do it ^^.
You can cancel your premium account at any time, but once you do that, you will have 30 days to transfer your sites away from WA.
The domain name you bought will always be yours (unless you don't renew it annually), and the site contents are easy to transfer too.

Thanks, as you can see I first came up with the idea in February and it took me a while to finish lol

Well like you said in the beginning, there are new people coming in A LOT of the time. And this is a great place to start and so they don't know the answers. Good place to get a lot of those basic questions answered.

Thank you so much, DomW. I could be asking any one of those questions from time to time as I move through learning and learning and learning. Unfortunately remembering is not the natural result of learning so much. Quick references like this should be over there on the left. I mean, why not. I know I'm not the only one who wants a quick FAQ at my fingertips.

Well, maybe if you ask Kyle nicely he will stick it over there on the left for us :) Seriously though, you made some good points and I kind of expected a lot of people to be referencing this training in the future (it's what I use to determine whether or not I make a training).

This is a great idea to put it on the left side. As I was reading, I was thinking, "What if I need one of these answers later on...Will I be able to find this training again?" It would also be excellent for newcomers to see right away. Kyle? Carson?

You can always add it to your bookmarks or just search "wa FAQ" into the search bar. Not that I mind you petitioning K&C though, but I think they are quite specific about what goes on the left!

Here's hoping. I imagine there will be some more frequently asked questions that apply to everybody as well. Things like "Is Scotland really the name of a person?"

Yup. I see these questions asked ALL THE TIME. This is a great resource to keep on file and pass on to newbies

Thanks man. Hopefully it will grow over time as well and be a constant source of help. It might save the people in live chat a bit of time with explanations too!
