Does A Keyword Have To Make Sense?

Yes. Sometimes people will type things that don't make sense into Google, so you will find these search terms in the keyword tools. That doesn't mean you should use them.

Google knows what good grammar is. People do too.

Do you think that writing a post called "Get rich online fast no monkey business free" is going to get a good ranking in the search engines? If it did, would you click on it?

What Is A Good Keyword?

Anything with a QSR below 300 is great. The closer that QSR is to 0 the better. It also has to make sense, and it has to be something that you can write about.

Something like this is a great keyword:

What Is QSR?

Basically it is "Quoted Search Results" but in laymen's terms it is your competition. It is the number of sites that use that exact keyword on their site.

Jaaxy/The WA Keyword Tool Says Only 250 QSR But Google Says 5 Million. How Come?

Good question!

Google inflates its results. It doesn't want you to know the EXACT compeition easily, and it also wants to look like every search term has millions of results. (They don't want to look like they are slacking).

The search you did was also not an "exact" search either.

Where Should I Input My Keywords?

Basically you want to use ONE per post. Not two, not three, ONE. Use it in your title and find somewhere to fit it into your first paragraph, then ignore it and write normally.

For the ALL In One SEO Plugin, just fill in the title section only. Make sure it matches the title of your post/page.

Thanks, as you can see I first came up with the idea in February and it took me a while to finish lol

Well like you said in the beginning, there are new people coming in A LOT of the time. And this is a great place to start and so they don't know the answers. Good place to get a lot of those basic questions answered.

Thank you so much, DomW. I could be asking any one of those questions from time to time as I move through learning and learning and learning. Unfortunately remembering is not the natural result of learning so much. Quick references like this should be over there on the left. I mean, why not. I know I'm not the only one who wants a quick FAQ at my fingertips.

Well, maybe if you ask Kyle nicely he will stick it over there on the left for us :) Seriously though, you made some good points and I kind of expected a lot of people to be referencing this training in the future (it's what I use to determine whether or not I make a training).

This is a great idea to put it on the left side. As I was reading, I was thinking, "What if I need one of these answers later on...Will I be able to find this training again?" It would also be excellent for newcomers to see right away. Kyle? Carson?

You can always add it to your bookmarks or just search "wa FAQ" into the search bar. Not that I mind you petitioning K&C though, but I think they are quite specific about what goes on the left!

Here's hoping. I imagine there will be some more frequently asked questions that apply to everybody as well. Things like "Is Scotland really the name of a person?"

Thanks man. Hopefully it will grow over time as well and be a constant source of help. It might save the people in live chat a bit of time with explanations too!
