I really like using my categories as the main part of my menu. I usually only do one category per post though. And I remove "category" from the URL. That allows me to move the post in and out of categories (if I change my mind) without causing 404 errors.
I use the categories part of the menu to do this. But I like the way you did it - by just creating it as a link. I will probably start using that. Thanks!
