The first thing that you need to do is to make sure that you are tagging your posts that you want grouped by using a category. In the example so far we see that I used the category of Game Reviews. By doing that I have created a link on my site that will bring anything in that category into a Blog Roll.
Setting Up Your Categories
Categories are a very important part of your site. Not only do they help to organize your topics for your traffic to find things, they can also even help your site rank better (will come back to this).
Whenever you create a post you can tag it in one or more categories. sticking with my example, I also tag all my game reviews with appropriate age levels (kid, teen & adult friendly). In this manor you can have your posts show up in various different categories and with this method, different menus too!
Category LinkWhen you create a category it creates a link that you can use on your site. So for my Game Reviews category it looks like this:
http://familygamenightideas.com/category/game-reviews
As you can see it is my site URL followed by category and then the category name with hyphens or dashes in between multiple words.
I use the categories part of the menu to do this. But I like the way you did it - by just creating it as a link. I will probably start using that. Thanks!
