3. Share Your Success
There are some fantastic viral posts that have vaulted website owners into success by sharing how they created something stellar. Just because you're new to online marketing and perhaps blogging, don't think you're incapable of doing this.
But, here's the trick:
You need to learn how to track your posts and how effective they are. If you're not using tracking links or social share metrics, begin doing so now. Tweak our analytics and search the WA training for the various methods of doing so.
More on tracking links from Paul (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/adding-tr...)
I also use Pretty Links for tracking 100s of things. And, of course, there is the Google Shortner, but it's not as easy to title your links. And, don't forget about your social shares.
This way, you'll have your list of facts, historical progressions and yep, data-driven research to explain in a storytelling format about how you researched an older blog post, wrote it up, began sharing it out and then suddenly were able to build a headline like this:
"HOW WE RECEIVED 13 MILLION PAGE VIEWS IN ONE WEEK AND IT NEARLY CRASHED OUR WEB SERVER"
Yea, okay, Kyle and Carson might be a wee bit upset if you crashed one of their many servers, but hey..... go for it and tell 'em Peej empowered me to do so! LOL!
ahhhemmmm....... anyway, moving on.
1. choose a niche
2. build a website
3. promote a product or service
4. make money
That's it! and 100% of the people who work hard make a living online.
Implying that those who don't make it, aren't working hard enough. That's easy or maybe they all aren't smart enough to grasp all the training all the time.
Clearly you state it takes more than that.
Frankly I'm overwhelmed with all there is do to be successful when at every turn there is this and that to do
and...
I highly doubt for most of the hundreds of ordinary folks who join WA that this training is duplicatable.
It is a very select niche that can benefit from this, mostly the tech saavy is my guess
I think I'm in the wrong place and was just meant to be a 9-5 slave
It is posts/training like this that makes me stop and think, why am I here?
This is so much work and it depresses the hell out of me, not encourages me.
I've spent over a $1000 on website building and I highly doubt I'll see any of it back just blogging away with a monetized site.
