Fast Loading Pages

Improve user experience by creating fast loading web pages - most importantly your home page. Keep the important content "Above the fold". This is a new SEO ranking factor that works cohesively with page load speeds. Move videos, major images and advertisements below the fold. Google wants to see the meat of your article - text mostly, immediately and up-front. If an advertisement is leading your content, move it down.

Aesthetics

Take the time to ensure each page is aesthetically pleasing. Select themes that are easy on the eyes, make your media "pop" and an easy to learn layout. Some three-column themes are good, but depending on your niche or content can be too "busy" and overwhelm your viewers. Be sure to use the Wealthy Affiliate feedback area for help with constructive criticism. We all have different perspectives and perhaps can help you tweak pages and posts for maximum effect.
