Don'ts
Don't have an "infinite loop" anywhere within your website. What creates an infinite loop? Two pages that link back to each other. This confuses the spiders and can lead your website visitors in circles and force them to click the Home link, if they are able.
Again, this is where a beginning diagram can help you map out your navigation.
Don't use misleading headers, titles and tags. Each should be related to your content.
Don't have multiple canonical URLS that lead to the same page. This also confuses the search engine spiders and bots.
Quality Engaging Unique Content
DO
Create content that provides value to your website visitors no matter what that value is. Help your readers resolve an issue, save time, teach something, provide needed research, etc. Provide content that is newsworthy, funny, media-rich and engaging.
DON'T
Don't provide content that is plagiarised or duplicated. If your site differs across multiple geographic areas, create separate unique content accordingly. Do Not copy and paste. Also, watch your images and ensure you are using the correct licensing..... see this training for more information:
