SEO Checklist - Social Signals

After the most recent Google algorithm changes, social "signals" and how much your content is trending on the social platforms has become a much bigger ranking factor.

DOs

Do distribute your page links via as many social networks as you can.

Do have social sharing links available on your home page and at the top or bottom of each of your blog posts and inner pages.

DON'Ts

Don't waste money on automated programs that artificially promote your content to social platforms. These leave footprints that can easily be detected by the search engines and again you will be penalized in the search rankings or have your website "devalued".
