In laying out your Business Plan you will want to define your vision. What do you want to your business to be within the next year, the next two years, the next five years?

Based on your vision you define your goals. You may have a goal of creating a $100K business within the first year. Your objective will be to create a product launch a month. Now you have to strategize what product will you sell, how will you promote it, etc. For each product launch you will define your objectives. And your MBO plans will help you systemize your launches.

Systematize your business and documenting your system is vital to having a smooth running organization and is a critical component of any business you plan to sell.

You have done a great job here Bill. You have taken what is often used in one post and broken it into 9 digestible modules. MBO is supplemented by updated leadership and management ideas and by Steven Covey's 7 Habits. Great post.
