I shared about Sendpulse last year last year when I made the decision to move all my email marketing over to them from aWeber and a while after moving my list to them I started playing around with their PUSH notifications. The results have been awesome, I am loving PUSH notifications.

Signing up with Sendpulse is free up 2500 email subscribers and up to 25 000 emails per month, however PUSH notifications is completely free. You can have unlimited PUSH subscribers and send out as many pushes as you like at no cost.

I have found the subscribe rate for PUSH to be much higher than email and the click through rate is also much better.

Added to that sending out a push is so fast and easy - nothing compared to the time taken to design and write an email!

Thanks for the information. I'm just at the point of setting up Social Media and E-Mail lists and SendPulse looks like a good alternative. I'm starting with Twitter and will emphasize Social Media before venturing into e-mail marketing (I think Jay recommended that process) and will definitely look at SendPulse and their PUSH option.

I read your post from last year, and the Russian connection looks valid - at least the nationality of the founders. I couldn't find where they are located. Their phone number is from California, but that doesn't mean they're located in CA. Let us know anything else you find out - it all helps.

I love the power of our Community. Keep up the good work. Ted

It is a pleasure Ted. I have been using Sendpulse since October last year and I am very happy with them :) I like them more than Mailchimp and Aweber, both of which I have been paid customers of.

Thanks for the heads up, Lynne. It sure looks like Push Notifications is the way to go. We are doing it on our e-commerce site and it is performing very well.
