Clicking on the ‘Inbox’ Tab will let you view all the messages that have been sent to your page. This keeps them separate from your regular Inbox. So you can switch off to it when you’re not working or whatever.

You can use the Business apps’ and ‘Resources & Tools @ tabs to link your page with any other platforms you use for the same business. This will Sync them and make it easier to manage them all as a whole.

You can also check the ‘Notifications’ Tab to keep updated on all activity on your account including comments, likes and shares.

The ‘Insights’ Tab can be very useful once your page has been up and running for a while. You can watch the statistics of the Analytics and observe the behaviour of your audience. This can go a long way towards constantly improving your page and content, etc.

Using the Ad Centre and Publishing Tools, you can launch Facebook Ad campaigns. This will get your page advertised across the Facebook platform. You can filter your audience and narrow down the people who will see your page advertised by altering factors such as age, location, interests, etc. However, I would NOT recommend delving straight into Facebook Ads until you have a bit of experience.

So It’s probably best just to focus on getting your page up and running first. Facebook Ads can cost a lot of money and you could easily end up getting a 100,000 Impressions but a single page Like. So take your time and lean a little more about this before getting into Facebook Ads. I plan soon to write up an article on this Topic here on Kwidzin soon, so stay tuned. But like I said, It’s best to get your page up and running first.

At the very bottom of the Sidebar is the ‘Settings ‘tab. Within here, you can add page admins if you have a few members of staff who need access to the page, or for whatever reason. You can also delete your account in these settings, create your Site URL, alter the page name (if below 1000 followers).

On the top menu bar on your page, you will see a Blue button. Here you can use this button as a Call to Action of your Choice. There are many options you can choose fro including a link to your Website, Messaging option, Phone number ‘Call Me’ function and many more. Simply click on the Blue button and add a function for it.

The button has so many useful features and you can use it to book appointments too. So let’s just say for Instance, you are a Hairdresser or Barber who runs a Physical, Bricks and Mortar Store. Not only can you display on your Facebook page your Salon Address, opening hours and contact method, but you can also take appointments over Facebook.

If you are an online store, you can redirect visitors to your actual webstores website. But there’s also the option of selling your own Items on your Facebook page too. Facebook Shops have become very popular over the past couple of years and they can be a great idea not only for established stores, but also give individuals a chance to set up their own store online without even needing a website of their own. Although, I wouldn’t recommend this.

I suggest to anyone who is conducting business online of any sort, then at least have a basic Free website that you can send visitors too. Ideally you’d want your own web domain too, as this is your own digital real estate. But, as Facebook have the lions share of traffic hanging around, then it’s well worth having a page no matter what your business is.
