Remember this method is just one of a few other ways but this is a start and a great site at that.
So once you have compressed the images for your website you can also download them into your WordPress Media Library either one at a time (if you are working on just one post) or you can download (depending how many) the images in one hit.
This is a good way to do it when working on a page or post at a time as you have all the images from the post download in one hit and when replacing them you just need to go to your media library find the image and click and replace and of course update and save the page or post.
This save some time going back and forth between your computer and your WordPress site.
Don’t forget to ensure that all your new work has been updated on your WordPress site and also make sure you have a copy of the current content saved elsewhere in case you need that backup.
As for any images you have for personal use away from the website you now have them save on your computer and all you need to do is select the compress images to your phone or download them to your social media if your wish.
That is it
Congratulations you have just compressed your images without the use of a plugin and if the images are for your website know that when you next check the PageSpeed Insights with Wealthy Affiliate you will see a healthier and higher score for that page or post you are working on.
So I hope this have been helpful for you and please click the like button before you leave the training session you know how important to can be for all concerned.

Looks like Carson's Blog says this is now resolved with the new automatic image compression software, yes! :) So my buttons should be turning GREEN soon!
