4 - Use Compelling CTA
You should never assume that your audience will take the required action after watching your broadcast. Sometimes they will wait for you to recommend the actions they need to take.
Other times, you will have to state very clearly what you expect them to do after consuming your content.
First things first, you should already know what you would like your audience to do after watching your live broadcast. If you had set up your live stream goal from the start, then you have something to use for the CTA (Call to Action).
If your goal is to build your mailing list, then you will have to state that as well as provide a link for them. If you want to reach a wider audience, then your CTA would prompt them to share your video after watching.
Some platforms include specific actions that you can ask your audience to take after viewing your broadcast. You can take advantage of this feature for creating the right CTA for your audience.
5 - Promote Your Live Broadcast
Promoting your live stream broadcast is vital to getting the right audience. No matter how good your live stream turns out, you can't achieve your set goal if you don't have the right audience.
I do understand that they can also watch the recorded videos after the broadcast. However, it's not going to be like the live session where they are allowed to interact with you.
You can send messages to those on your mailing list, promote through your blog, and through social media networks.
6 - Go Live!
A live stream video is very much like a news broadcast and any other live programs on TV. They are usually interactive and may spring up surprises during the broadcast.
That's why you will have to prepare against any unexpected event that may happen. It could be a disruption caused by a technical issue or a question that throws you off-balance.
These things happen every now and then and the level of your preparation will determine how you handle them. Also, you should encourage responses and feedback from your audience in order to make the session lively.
It doesn't matter the disruption that may arise; always stick to the original plan.
