What is Pinterest?
Pinterest is a social network used by individuals and companies to share interests by 'pinning' (eg posting) images or videos to their own or others' pinboards. Users (or pinners) can upload images from their computer, from the web using a Pinterest bookmarklet a Pin It button or from any URL.
It is an opportunity for you to promote goods, your brand, give information and make money through affiliate links.

Thanks for this. It is exactly what I need. I have put off getting involved because it represented one more thing to learn, and I'm so busy. Maybe I was growing it out of proportion. Now with your help, I can jump on board.

A wonderfully clear and concise piece.
Pinterest is continuing to evolve and has a user base that cannot be overlooked. It should be part of everyone's social marketing agenda's and your image selection (on your site or articles) should be considered in the context of their share factor.
