I won't spend too much Time Just 4 stonking methods - listen up

Articles - It's almost impossible to draft an article and send them directly to a squeeze page from a top quality directory like streetarticles.com for instance. However directing your article links on SA to a blog then from your blog to a squeeze page is good enough. Or with websites like Ezine Articles your resource box could be quite a handy place for call to action to joining your lists.

I'm going to list web 2.0 in with articles. Websites like Squidoo and Hubpages are also great tools for driving people to a squeeze page. You can get away with 500 words on a web 2.0 property but the more info on the lens or hub the better I say.. Just make sure there id=s a need to click and come visit!

Series posts - A series of posts on one topic can greatly improve your optin rate especially if your readers know that there are more in the series coming. I published a series of 20 plus consecutive post on wordpress on mission0ps.com my options during that months are almost twice as many as any other month.

Coming up with topics for a series post will only be difficult if at all the first time you try it. Once you've done your first you'll realize that you can create a series of posts about anything at all.

Guest Post - This can be one of the best converting methods of building your list. Especially if you guest post on a targeted blogs website. If you aim to offer guest posts there are always a few basics to be aware of. READ the blog you want to post on, get a feel for the author's voice and style. If your writing style complements theirs it's a good start. Don't just flog a service or product a great post offers pure value and sells nothing apart from your ability to write compelling content.

You will only be successful in guest posting once you've mastered the art of crafting a great title.

It may not seem like a massive factor, but if you are submitting a guest post it's the first thing that the blog owner will see ...
...So make sure it's a BELTER. And please make sure that you research your post topic thoroughly. Here's a great video by SEOmoz on guest posting.

Finding blogs to submit your guests post to can be a bit of a task, but as in all things there's a little shortcut search string that you can use at Google. In quote marks with various search strings like "Submit Guest Post" or "”Submit Post” or "guest blog submission" you get the gist if not Buzz Blogger has yet another great article piece on guest blogging.

Press Releases - Such another under utilized with so much clout. When last did you submit a press release? If you submit a press release every 3 months or so that's a hell of a lot of traction. I usually draft my own press releases and then pay someone on fiverr to submit it to a bunch of services - The usual rules apply when sourcing gigs at fiverr, go by popularity & reviews.

I must also state that writing a Press Release is very different to writing your usual content. Research what it takes to write a good press release .

Tasks 0/4 completed
1. Find out what is required for a great press release.
2. Write a Press Release and get it distributed - I use Fiverr but you can do it manually for free
3. Research ideas for a series post set - leave comments of what the series below
4. Research which blogs accept guest posts in your niche

Okay. Now I read that article and played around on the site for awhile. It looks like I have to go get more info on RSS (which I don't have) Feedburner (which I don't have) I have no list at all. But, I will check into an auto responder. Also, another member here had posted about MailChimp as terrible. Alpina. I am learning a lot but cannot check off yet. I am confused about RSS and Feedburner. So, onto doing those first.

This is really good thank you so much for this training. Also, I saw the Jaaxy jumping up and down and how the Aweber wound jump out too. Tried to do chat in there and no one was there!

I got to get busy. Thanks again.

Lots to learn here and plenty to do. Most of the techniques are familiar to me but I haven't seen all of them in a cohesive format before. Thanks.
