RSS Make it easy - This is a quick fix if ever there was one, Visible and obvious call to action to subscribe via rss feed. Some marketers don’t even consider this option. They only use double op-tins on their website and that’s that! Talk about leaving money on the table!
This is how I see it working. If there is an RSS feed option folks are probably going to go for it. Reading content on the bus, train, or where ever “on your mobile device” is becoming the norm. And rather than email, getting the content you want in your Google reader or another curation system is a clever option.
That’s where the savvy user is now, and where the rest will be in the near future. There are so may options and advantages for the proper use of RSS syndication that it’s a whole other training course. Creating an good RSS feed that you can optimize can be done easily and freely with Feedburner.com
It’s a google tool that allows you to create a feed and do lots to cool stuff with it. You do need a Google account but the benefits are well worth it!
Visible Opt-in’s - Having an opt-in for is a must, I mean trying to get more subscribers, without one is pretty stupid right! You can get a free account at mailchimp.com so there shouldn't really be any excuses when it comes to adding subscribers via an email lists.
So where should the opt-in form be? Those of you that said above the fold top of the class but sometimes even that isn't enough. You need your opt-in box to pop! readers are pretty web savvy these days and making your opt-in a no-brainier is the task. And how do we do that? By offering something valuable.
There are so many add-ons these days that you can get in the form of plugins to make your auto-responder stand out. For a deeper understanding of “why auto-responders are important" you've got reading homework...
...While you're there check out what happens to the opt-in box as you scroll down the page .

Okay. Now I read that article and played around on the site for awhile. It looks like I have to go get more info on RSS (which I don't have) Feedburner (which I don't have) I have no list at all. But, I will check into an auto responder. Also, another member here had posted about MailChimp as terrible. Alpina. I am learning a lot but cannot check off yet. I am confused about RSS and Feedburner. So, onto doing those first.
This is really good thank you so much for this training. Also, I saw the Jaaxy jumping up and down and how the Aweber wound jump out too. Tried to do chat in there and no one was there!
I got to get busy. Thanks again.
