Going viral seems to be best suited to Youtube you'd probably think, and I wouldn't blame you. But I Facebook is also a VERY powerful medium for creating Viral campaigns. Not so long ago, I posted a small Monday morning musing on my blog here at WA. It was taken from a very successful Facebook viral share campaign.

Offline Advertising - Still a good way to gain subscriptions as long as your offline advert is targeted. Now again I urge you to think outside the box a little when it comes to offline advertising.Bulky mail is a good idea and hear are a few more.

• .. Adding business card to pizza boxes sent to halls of residence, with offers students go for.
• .. Printing off QR codes free that promotes a local business to gain trust and get more work ;)
• .. Offering a high perceived value raffle prize of your services free at a local event.
• .. Local radio advert / local TV ad

With offline advertising it can work wonders for some niches and not so well for others.
A dog walking service does great handing out flyers in the park as it's easy to spot your target clients...they're the ones with dogs!

Yet it's not so easy handing out flyers for work at home opportunities, That's best done in a paper, radio advert or other media, where they are searching for that info or the audience numbers are high

List Swaps - Many say that It's a good way of grabbing subscribers from a sister site or niche - It's when you email your list an offer from another site and they email their list an offer. The idea is you collect names on a squeeze page adding to your email list..

I've tried it but to date never had any good results with list swaps. There is often more damage than good if your partner isn't squeaky clean which I found out the hard way. I got involved in a list swap at the warrior forum... after getting a few complaints from my own list about being bombed with what they called "cr*p offers" 3 times a day,

I had to email the other list owner a few harsh words - You know me, no cotton wool! But I won't be trying that again unless I actually know the other list owner of Cool.
