Let's Review The Blog We've Written
In this lesson we'll cover the following:
Reviewing A Blog In OneNote
- using the Review Tab
- using the Spell Check
- using the Thesaurus
- using the Translate/Research
So Let's Get Started!
Reviewing A Blog
1/ Click on the Blogs Tab and on the right-hand side under the Search Bar, look for your blog heading under the pages listed.
2/ Once you've found the blog you want to Review, click on it.
3/ Let's say for instance I want to check my Spelling. Click on the Review Tab and then click on the heading Spelling as seen in the screenshot above.
Your blog will be checked for spelling errors and you will be given the chance to correct them if they are incorrect.
4/ Now let's say I want to use a different word to avoid repetition in my blog. Highlight the word you want to find another word for and click on the Thesaurus Icon that looks like an Open Book with lines in it, to the right of the Spelling Icon we just used.
This will open a side menu to the right of your page with a long list of possible words having a similar meaning to the one you want to change, but to keep the thought the same. Since your word is still selected, start typing the new word in it's place. Voila! Now you have a new word avoiding repetition in your blog.
Here is a great tool for those who want to Translate their blogs for their own websites!
5/ Select the text you want to Translate and then click on the Translate Icon in the Review Tab.
It works in conjunction with the Research Icon and it opens up a panel to the right and you will see the translation of the selected text from English to French in the screenshot above.
Now that we've learnt How To Review A Blog, let's learn How To Use OneNote To Train.
