1. Affiliate Programs

With my colic site I signed up for affiliate programs. I did a review site and compared the different programs. I found the affiliate programs by typing in the following into Google:

colic + affiliate programs

So your keyword + affiliate program. The first option that shows up is ColicCalm and that is the program that I focused on as my top choice. I had my first sale with ColicCalm I will never forget the $4 I made my family thought I`d won the lottery ;). To me it meant that Internet Marketing worked and it can be done!

Other affiliate marketing programs are:

  • Clickbank
  • Commission Junction
  • ShareaSale
  • BlueSnap used to be Plimus
  • MarketHealth

These are a few that I have used myself and they work great.

Hi I am a beginner and this is my first lesson. Thanks for the information. My question is I see "Tagged" with key words on the side of the lesson. I have checked them out and found more quality information but should I just be concentrating on the lesson for now and go back to the "Tagged items later?
Thanks
Ed

Hi Ed. You don't need to worry about those tags. Those are just there to help categorize what the lesson is about. For your official training I suggest you start up at the green tab the says 'Get Started Here'.

Here is the link that will take you directly there. Great to see you making progress.

This is by far the best article I have ever read on the topic at hand. I am ever so grateful for your experience, determination, and willingness to help out the Wealthy Affiliate community. Especially with myself only having been used the site for a few hours now as a new member to the internet marketing community.

I love how you referenced a specific business venture, and broke down your target customer (Age, Demo- & Psychographics) of their lifestyle to promote the need for "mothers" who have a full-time job parenting from home. Your target customer definitely needs & wants people to relate to, "help"/friends, and has time to use the internet for daily info/news, advice, and entertainment that can't hurt to adventure out (via Websites/Blogs) to benefit their lives @ home! Extremely elaborate and helpful Veronica!

Awesome sauce I'm taking notes and going through things one of the time and everytime I myself to walk the course not run trying to get ahead but in school I was always reading for chapters ahead and then the evening so I already knew the material when they discussed at the next game show I don't mind taking the time needed to learn the material thanks for all the help

Very helpful Veronica. Thank you.
Being a complete newbie and wanting to get into the "heath and wellness" field as well, I can't help but wonder if we can get sued for our recommendations?
Veronica, you may be a perfect example. You chose colic remedies. What if a baby dies from colic using something you recommended and they have a good lawyer?
Do we need a lawyer our self to draw up some sort of disclaimer to go with our website?
I really want to help people but don't need to worry about someone taking advantage of me. I hope you understand.

Thanks in advance...Tim
