Again, I think the graphic above is pretty self explanatory. Of course, grooming myself, celebrating and getting my son ready are part of my morning routine, but I ran out of space on the first page ;-)
A few things I do need to mention are:
- before getting dressed, I dry brush. This simple thing has changed my skin! It's no longer so dry and flaky. Something to consider doing. Plus, we should all exfoliate on a regular basis anyway.
- I celebrate after completing my morning routine. It might sound silly, but it's necessary to CELEBRATE ACCOMPLISHMENTS more often. Even little ones. It's much more positive than not celebrating at all! So, to celebrate I smile and quietly shout and flail my arms around. I'm weird, I know ;-) LOL But I love it!!
So onto the daily work routine.
First thing I do is create my to do list. I do this in the morning. If I remember something the night before, I'll add it and then double check and continue to add to the list in the morning.
I get the most important and money-making tasks done first and make sure they get done that day. If I don't have enough time, I'll leave little tasks for the following day but I'll be sure to get them done that week.
After making my list I study. This includes watching videos or listening to audios to help me with with my business but also to create website content. It's all about I-L-T or invest, learn, teach. I invest money or my time in some kind of training, I learn it and take notes and then I teach it to people I help. Do you do this?
After I finish learning and taking notes, I create content. I do this twice a week because I have a job that I go to Wednesday to Friday. I'll tell you what I do those days later. It takes me about 3 hours from start to finish to create a blog. This includes some research, editing, finding and editing pictures, adding tags, etc etc. My posts are about 1,000 words - more or less.
After I create the post,I fetch as Google, Bing/Yahoo and Yandex and then add it to Mass Planner, which I use to automate my social media posts. LOVE IT!! Thanks @Jimbo ;-)
After that, I create my weekly newsletter and schedule it to go out.
I've just figured out my work routine. It took a while. I was obsessed with having to know exactly when I should be doing things and for how long. But I see it's not really possible to allot an exact amount of time to each and every task. Maybe something takes more or less time. Maybe I'll have to stop to do something else...who knows. That's the life of a home business entrepreneur. And it's OK.
This week was my first week with this routine. So far so good. I created a blog on Monday and another on Tuesday. I decided to create one newsletter this week and use the second blog I created next week. I'll be posting on my website on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Saturdays might change to Thursdays depending on the views.
Right now I'm ahead by one blog which I'm happy about. A buffer.
My next task is prospecting. I'm in MLM and so speaking to people is very important for my business. Just as it is with affiliate marketing. It's important to get out there and speak to people about what you have to offer. This could be online or offline. Cold or warm market. Either way, it has to be done to get more eyeballs on the website, the affiliate links, and my business.
What's your strategy for this?
Checking emails is my last real task. I don't check until after 12pm because if I do, I'll get caught up in it. I admit that I do scroll through while I'm looking for "study" time emails that have video or audio links, and I'll see if there's anything that sticks out that might need to be taken care of. Otherwise, after the first steps.
The days I work I do the following:
- to-do list
- study
- share lifestyle pics and motivational quotes on social media - gotta get better at doing this regularly
- prospect at least 5 people EVERY DAY
- check emails
From the time "done" my work routine at 2:30pm until 5pm, I still chat with people and check emails here and there. 5 to 7pm is family time and I really try NOT to do any work during that time. After my son goes to bed I have about an hour before my evening routine.
And voila! My work routine. How does yours differ from mine? What do you do?
NEXT...
My Evening Routine
All the best in all that you do!

Thank you so very much for sharing this information with us:-))Steph
It sounds like you have developed a great morning routine. I also get up at 6:00, or earlier, just naturally. I've always been a morning person; it's staying up late that I find hard. I also meditate, stretch and work out from 7:00-8:00. I used to take a lot of supplements but stopped about a year ago since my diet is pretty healthy. So far I don't feel the difference from not taking supplements but I know alot of people swear by them..

If I take my adrenal support pills it really helps. They help fix your cortisol levels. In many people, stress messes with your cortisol and the body produces too much late in the day. This keeps you awake late into the evening and you also don't sleep well. Then you are tired the next day. If I take the supplement several hours before bed it helps me relax and sleep well and then be more awake the next day. My doctor recommended them and they are amazing. They also cured my lower back pain! Adrenal fatigue can cause this! They help with night sweats also as high cortisol at night also raises body temperature.
I just need to make this a set routine! I should make smoothies more often too!
