Now Let's Discuss The Plugins Before We Install Them
The reason I've chosen the plugins for this tutorial, is because they seem to have remained stable and compatible with the other plugins, compared to the other plugins that were recommended as a solution for the issues encountered.
I tried various different scenarios with different plugins and two different themes. The themes I tested this on were,ProMax and Messed Mirror.
Remember too, that I've optimized the website with a Mobile Device Friendly Plugin too, which increases the chances of Google Approving the website for mobile devices.I'm using WPTouch Mobile Plugin to accomplish this.
I've chosen Autoptimize as it's a Lite Plugin. It lists all JavaScript and CSS Styles, minifies and compresses them.
CSS Styles are moved to the Header and JavaScripts are moved to the Footer.
The HTML code is also minified which makes your website really light. These were the items I was looking for when Google PageSpeed advised that the PageSpeed of my website needed attention.
What I did notice is that the remaining issues appear to be due to either the selected theme, or the WP Touch Mobile Plugin, which is necessary to be Mobile Friendly compliant, so we'll have to live with those remaining issues.
The other plugin we will use is the Scripts To Footer Plugin which moves scripts to the footer.
It is a small plugin that will only work on wp_enqueue_scripts - so you may or may not need this plugin.Test the PageSpeed of your site once you've installed Autoptimize and then install this 2nd plugin and see if it makes any difference. If not, uninstall it and stay with just Autoptimize.
Now that we understand Why We Are Using These Plugins, let's Install Autoptimize.
Take out the main tips that you can follow... thanks for the course by the way.
Keep at it... and always be vigilant

For example, if you have a Wa comparison table within your content, it appears as the footer.
