I'm Thinking Of Christmas In July And You Should Be Too
Yep, you read that right. It’s the start of July and while most people are thinking of beach trips, 90° days, barbecues, and normal summer activities, I’m sitting here thinking about snowflakes, and Christmastime.
Why am I doing this, and why should you also be thinking about the holidays in July? Well, as many of you are already aware, it takes a little bit of time to really rank your websites for keywords that you may be targeting.
What you may not be aware of the fact that you will typically make as much money during the last two months of the year as you do the rest of the year combined. This is especially true if you are selling any type of physical goods and even more true if you are in a niche that may be considered to be gift items.
Now, as you know, it does take a bit of time to get your content ranked online. For this reason, if you are thinking about creating a new niche or expanding greatly on your current content, you need to get started ASAP.
By getting started and preparing for Christmas right now in July, the majority of your articles will be ranking very well come the holidays. This will allow you to be in front of more people and essentially make more sales when November and December roll around.
Another thing to really take into consideration is that a lot of people start shopping for the holidays during the months of August and September, so creating content in July will really help you get a head start on your competition.
So, while you may be planning your next vacation trip, make sure that you take a little bit of time to think about exactly what you want to be doing when it comes to the Christmas season this winter.
By taking the time to prepare right now, you can be securely in front of your target audience when they are preparing to open their wallets and complete their holiday shopping.
