I'm Melting!
I realize this has absolutely nothing to do with biz, but I'm fried and feel like breaking the monotony. The state of Georgia has officially melted off the map. We hit the triple digits again today.
My 10 year old daughter and I usually spend Saturdays out at the barn, most times leading a trail ride of 1-4 other people. It's amazing how appreciative we are of the slightest breeze and ice water.
Today we did two rides and I'm totally spent. But I love it enough to go right back out there again next week, likely with more triple digit temps to grace us.
I'm really missing Colorado and would give anything to move back.
Just gotta convince the hubs.
Anyone from Colorado?

Tonia, what part of GA are you in? I walked outside for the first time around 2pm. The temp gauge in the truck read 101. It took five minutes running the air with the windows down for the gauge to drop to 98. I'm in north GA. Its hot. But, I'm from S GA. I'm accustomed to it.
I'm in the central Savannah River area. It's the humidity that makes everything so stagnant. I'm a firm believer that one must be born down here to fully function properly. I've lived down here (off and on) since 1992 and I still find it unbearable at times. Maybe I just need to be on the coast. :)
I grew up in the city of Savannah, High temps, high humidity and sand gnats galore. I'm well aware. My sympathies to you! :(
I know where you are and its as unpleasant there as it is at home. I'm sorry you haven't grown accustomed to it since you have been there for a while now.
Tonia, I'm in Georgia. It's July with temperatures in the high 90's. I moved down here from up north. So bring the cheese.
Tonia, I'm in Powder Spings, just outside Atlanta. The chips are not a problem. Anything else you'll want?

Hi Tonia on the contrary your story has a lot to do with business and WA... We all can always find a good reason to quit. But when you love something you'll a way to keep going. In business I have been to the point of burnout. I have had the pressures of life, family issues, computer breakdowns, loosing money on this plan and that plan so much so that I have felt like giving up. But because I love being an entrepreneur so I always find a way to look beyond the bad and keep moving forward to my goal..... SUCCESS. I wish much SUCCESS in everything you Love
You are so right about that, Jesse! A true entrepreneur never quits, no matter how many times they have been burned. We've all been there.
