I'm on Google Search Page 2!

Whoa. Page 2!

So I've been working on my website and really trying to focus on keywords. Yesterday I was boxing up some clothing for victims of Hurricane Matthew, thinking about gratitude and wondered...I'll bet there's a good keyword in this experience that I can use to blog about it. (My website niche is for parents-to-be.) I googled 'Lumberton Victims' and saw there wasn't much competition there so I built a post around it this morning. And WHAT DO YOU KNOW:

There I am on page two of Google! I wish y'all could see the big grin I have on my face right now. The light bulb has gone on. Wow. It's possible! Now my mind is spinning trying to come up with more keywords. Can you smell the smoke? I realize this keyword will go stale, but I came up with another great one for my niche, with a QSR of 9 this morning. Can't wait to write my new post about it!

This is validation of the hard work I've been putting in after going premium on WA. I haven't been premium for that long, but I was definitely looking for something to give me a sign that I know what I'm doing and I can commit to doing this over the long haul.

I found myself questioning what I'm doing this morning as I'm realizing this is taking more time than I thought and I'm having to prioritize it all. Bear in mind, I work a full-time job and have a hubby and two small children at home. But now I know I have to make the time.
