Have you guys checked out what Loes has done for us?
So maybe one of the most useful tools that I have found as I have created about 30 web sites since starting at WA about a year and a half ago is the free tool that @Loes offers through her site cooltext (dot) com.
So many times I've been scratching my head wondering what I should use as a logo or font type for my header or whatever. I don't know why I keep thinking I can re-invent the wheel. Loes has already invented the wheel!
I have just started a new program called Photography by Tex within the last few weeks. So now I'm finally deciding that I need to get a logo. Where do I end up again??
No not photoshop, though I did watch a couple of neat little videos on youtube about how to create a logo in photoshop.
I came back to cooltext dot com and frickin eh, I'm looking for a script font and there are over a 100 free script fonts. Script is one of the 50 or so categories that she has her free fonts organized in for us.
And I did come back to my trusty favorite style that I like that she offers. The Keen style.
And voilah! I'm good.
I'm still working on the coloring and shadows, but she has nifty tabs on there for us to easily navigate to to adjust things just how we like it to turn out.
This was about halfway through...
These are my 4 favorites that I came up with. Do you like any of them? Any more than the other?
I know that I have thanked Loes many times for this very useful and intuitive tool. But I thought, hey you know what, I need to write about this and give her more props. Hopefully this little blog will get passed around so more people can get blessed by Loes! :)

Thanks for this post, Tim. I really miss her posts, and look forward to when she will be coming back eventually. She's one of my favorite mentors who has helped me so much.
I think I like the lime green one (2nd one) best, but it would depend on what other colors you have on your page with it.
The lime green one was what I picked for the heading on each of my galleries :D
I spoke to Loes on here a couple weeks ago when I thanked her then also.
I don't think she has left entirely.
No. From the post she wrote when she left, I thought she was just going to take a break, respond to PMs, and chill for awhile, and then be back later. Hope so.
Loes is a jewel and has a heart of gold. We are so lucky to have her in this community. I'm going to bookmark this and I like the shaded one. If your site has black and white colors, that would be very cool. I usually go to fiverr and pay someone $20 to create new logos for me. -Shirley
Thanks. Yeah the shaded black to white jumps at me too but i think my site needed the lime green one to tie into The Everett and Austin Project logo. What do you think? Theeverettandaustinproject dot org
Many thanks to Loes for creating this useful tool and to Tim for bringing it to our attention.
She has helped the community out with many many Golden nuggets and should be recognised for it
I use cool text all the time, it’s a great resource but I never knew Loes created it!
A massive thank you to Loes!!!
No not really Tim, If I have to say any it’s my cartoon type “Legit” text I use sometimes on my scam reviews.
