Hi everyone! Yesterday, I saw a double rainbow. It was a truly magical sight, and I was so excited that I took a few photos of it. I've always been fascinated by double rainbows, and I was curious to learn more about their meaning.
The double rainbow I saw yesterday was absolutely stunning. It was a bright, clear day, and the rainbow was perfectly formed. The primary rainbow was a vivid arc of colors, and the secondary rainbow was fainter, but still visible.
I saw the rainbow over a few blocks of government housing blocks. I stood there for a long time, just taking it all in. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

It is good to be grateful for even the smallest things in our lives. We start there and we begin to see how lucky we are.
I did that a lot in the past before my diagnosis with cancer. After being diagnosed, I realized how important it was to be grateful for everything, no matter how small.
As I rested on my bed, I would give thanks to being alive, being able to breathe, etc. Slowly, I began to be grateful for so many things in my life.
After a while of doing that, I would feel so fortunate. And yes, lucky indeed.

I love your post, Tim! I don't remember ever seeing a double rainbow but whenever a rainbow appears in the sky, I always enjoy it.
I've always loved the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" sung by Judy Garland many years ago.
In response to your post, I've just logged into YouTube and listened to the song as it was sung by Judy during the film "The Wizard of Oz".

In my hometown of N.J., seeing a rainbow in the sky was a big deal. It was a sign of good luck and great things to come. I saw a beautiful rainbow in 2015 on my way home from school and it elevated my spirit.
In fact, I still have the video that I made on that day. The video is on one of my older cell phones. If I ever locate that video, I will be sure to send you a copy.
I was going through a tough time at the time the rainbow appeared in the sky. It was a very spiritual experience.

p.s. Have you heard the rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, the Hawaiian singer? I often listen to his music before falling asleep. He has the voice of an angel.

yes, i have heard of his version. i still prefer the original judy garland version. to me, israel's version is a bit lacking in emotion. and not the right nuances at the right moments. like singing a meaningless nursery rhyme. it does sound nice cos it's so light.
judy gave deep emotions to the song and her nuances were perfect. i could feel what she felt as she sang the song. the yearning for something better, somewhere. such hope in her voice.

Oh yes, I love Judy Garland's original piece, I am also a big fan of Hawaiian music. Israel's music is very big in the children's genre of music too. It is amazing how he get's around with that amount of weight.
