So my new site has been created and I had WA support back up my site already. Now I want to upload it to replace my existing site. I have tried the Duplicator migration plugin

I resend to remind them. Hopefully, that's now been figured out.

Use the move button in site manager

I redid my site and want to upload it to wa. do migration plugins work here?

I have a site/name that I use to sell t-shirts on and it did rather well back in the day (2002-2005) The original site is gone. I know just have some junk up on the site and it

BTW, I looked to selling it on GoDaddy, but I think I would have to transfer it there before selling it.

According to this, it isn't required. However, if it were, you can take advantage of some benefits

Flippa.com - there's also GoDaddy, Sedo etc.

Anyone have and advice, tips, tricks etc... for selling a domain name? I have funny-tshirts.com and I just don't use it anymore. Back in the day I use to sell a ton of t-shirts

You get more money if you use a broker , I have sold single domains through godaddy brokerage service for up to 16K

I would probably be happy with $16 for funny_tshirts. Com lol

Have you seen Jay's live webinar? As Jeffoi suggested, you may try Flippa.com, but read their terms and conditions and use an escrow service so you do NOT get scammed.

I tried selling one that was going to expire soon anyway a couple of years ago on Flippa! I did a short blog series on it too! It was an interesting experience!

Jeff

I'm going to be selling one of mine and I will be using Godaddy.com

This post on Authority Hacker will definitely help you out. https://www.authorityhacker.com/best-place-to-sell-domains/

Well, I have my site up and it's been up for quite sometime. I have a ton of articles on it and really don't have time to maintain it anymore. I would love to be able to rewrit

Has anyone had success in making your article jump in rankings?

Yes I have asked chatGPT to check and add more detail to my older articles. It’s very helpful for that.

I will likely leave mine as they are! I don't need a robot!

Jeff

Don’t be afraid of a tool that is as useful as AI, Jeff. It only enhances your work. It’s like saying you don’t want to use a calculator. Also an AI bot has me at gunpoint right now please help

Haha Eric. I do most calculations in my head anyway!

Jeff

Haha

I'll get there eventually, Eric! I am always the last one to the party when everything has settled down as opposed to it being in perpetual flux!

Jeff

Yes, and the editing component of the AI makes it sound more authentic!

I do it all the time . I use Claude and give it a paragraph and say rewrite this to be SEO optimized and then when it is done I say can you rewrite and add anything

Yeah, you can use ChatGPT for brainstorming and outlining, but use it as a tool, not copy and paste.

Also, you need to cross reference your findings for factual content because ChatGPT does get it wrong.

You can also ask it for feedback, and it will let you know.

I actually think my Google ads are effecting my affiliate sales. My number of visitors has increased from about 150 visitors a day to just over 200, but my sales are way down.

I turned off most of the ads (still showing ads between pages and ads that are pinned to the bottom). Not as much money, but still making a dollar or two per day from it. Also, I have had 3 affiliate sales in the last 7 or 8 days which is a lot more than I have been getting. I'm definitely happy with that.

I have also put a sticky header on my pages since I have done away with my side bar to make the page easier to read and I think it looks better.

It's good to play around with the options you have friend. It's the only way to see which one benefited you the most. All the best!

That might not be a bad idea, Thomas! You won't know until you try!

Jeff

Yeah, I turned them off and now I'm gonna let it sit and see what happens!

It'll be interesting to see your results!

Jeff

Hi Thomas,

Sounds like a good idea to pause Google Ads. The money you make with those only becomes sizeable when you have thousands of visitors a day.

My suggestion is to focus more on your content. Identify specific problems readers associated with your niche have and provide solutions using whatever you're promoting.

The fact that you can generate about $5 a day indicates you're on the right path. It's now a matter of scaling up.

Cheers.

Edwin

Hey
I think we have to test what works best for our sites.
So if me I go for it and see what happens but I give it time.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
