I am currently working on a big project, which I'm very excited about. The only thing is it means I haven't had much time to spend here in WA. Because of that, I am just popping in now and saying a big thank you to everyone who has recently connected with me. I'm sure I will eventually get round to saying thank you personally but at the moment I am writing this blog to say it to all my new friends. I have clicked on the follow buttons and so we are now connected. I love reading everyone's pro

It's important to me to be honest, and as I want to chronicle this journey of mine - building a business from scratch, with the help of WA - then it's important that I details the lows as well as the highs.I am currently working my way through the Affiliate Bootcamp, and for a while I was on a really good roll. I felt the momentum, and was definitely happy with my progress. Then it came to writing the review. There was a template to follow, and everything, so it should have been the easiest th

I decided a few weeks back that I wanted to make a concerted effort to climb up the ranks here at WA. I wanted to do this for a variety of reasons. These were:- it helped motivate me to come in and get stuck in each and every day- it allowed me to see my progress within the community- it added to my commitment level for helping others- it meant that if I was going to be effective with the help I gave I needed to learn more for myself- it meant I began to share more about my experiences here b

Yesterday I read through a number of posts on social media about 'Internaut Day' and today I wrote a new blog post on my site, after reading Sir Tim Berners-Lee tweet 'Who on earth made up August 23? #getitright'.History is such a funny thing, but you'd think that something like the birth of the world wide web going public would be easy enough to get right.Still it gave me good material to write about, and I love the idea of being an intrepid internaut exploring hyperspace. If you fancy readin

This blog is where I will be logging the trainings I am completing here at Wealthy Affiliate and how I'm getting on with them.Online Entrepreneur Certification - Getting Started - COMPLETEI began this without a very clear idea of the niche I wanted to work in. I have so many interests that I fell into the trap of wanting to create a generalised website meeting a number of my passions. I created my first website: wellwomenunite.com. As the name suggests it is supposed to fall into the Health

Okay, so here I am about to get vulnerable. I have read Brene Brown's 'Daring Greatly' so I'm partway good with it, but if truth be told, it still feels uncomfortable exposing the inner angst we all have from time to time.I am currently progressing through the Bootcamp training, and very much enjoying it. But, here goes...I am resistant to following the blueprint exactly!Instead of the Review on WA, I have written a blog post about my experience as a learner since being here. I intended to writ

So, I've taken the plunge. I'm learning as much as I can, and now turning it around into training for the community. I have made a start, and although the trainings I create right now may be a little rough around the edges, I do know that they will improve. For now I've done the basic grade training, and once I've created a few more I will advance to the video training. I might find this one a little more challenging because I haven't got the greatest internet speed, one of the very few downs

Is anyone else interested in the history of Affiliate Marketing? Or is it just me? History is another one of my passions, but I particularly like grassroots history in the making. I love listening to my 86 year old dad and his stories of his youth. I now find the 80s a fascinating history topic, and it's all the better because I lived it! Now though with our world changing so, so, so very vast. Hyper-speed fast, even the 90s and 00s have amazing things to learn about. And that goes for Aff

I have just watched a video with Gary Vaynerchuk (GV) talking about what it really means to create a successful business, and believe me, he didn't pull any punches.GV explains that only a few people in the business world become millionaires (not my aim, but I do believe that a lot of what he says also applies to having a sustainable and growing business - and that I do want) and the reason there are only a few is because it is hard!- it's hard to be patient- it's hard to have a hard work ethic

The importance of market research cannot be overstressed. It is what it takes to become truly successful as an affiliate marketer, and it allows you to sell with ease.So what is it really? Well the way I have begun to look at it is to think about the film 'Avatar', you know the one with the blue Na'vi people who live on the world of Pandora? Well in the film the main character, Jake Sully, a disabled former Marine, attaches to a human/na'vi hybrid and this allows him to navigate the poisonous
