Too many Cogs in the Machines
MAKE IT EASY
As a Digital Marketers and Affiliates, we are always finding new tools that supposedly help us be successful. There's always a New Plugin, or a tracking tool, or some thing that is supposed to make our lives more easy.
THE PROBLEM
The problem with all of these tools, is they are each individually very, very, very complex. There are a lot of moving digital parts, even in sending an email. There are moving digital parts in a plug-in. There are moving digital parts in a opt in form. There are a plethora of digital moving parts in most online platforms.
The problem with having so many digital moving parts, if one single element, is not working, that means the entire machine does not work.
How much time do you spend fixing broken things in your business? How much money are you losing, because there is a broken link, or a filter that is preventing a certain bit of information getting through?
KEEP IT SIMPLE
The essence of the entire Internet, is communication. It is a way for one human, to connect with another human and communicate. However, most Marketers are looking to automate everything, and remove the human element.
I have some news for you. Robots do not have credit cards.
KEEP IT SIMPLE
Plant the seed, nurture the plant, harvest the fruit.
Leads are seeds. Your initial communication, is to find someone that is interested in your product or service. They become a lead.
They are (should be) human.
Nurture the plant... Next you need to develop a relationship. It's hard do this through the Internet. It's easier with a human conversation.
Once you have created an authentic and sincere relationship, and do you have established trust between you and your prospective customer, it's just a matter of time until they make the purchase. This is assuming, that they had an interest in the first place.
Even if you're lead and new prospective customer does not make a purchase, they are still a human, they have value, and you may earn something in the future down the road, whether it is money or simply a friendship.
HARVEST THE FRUIT 🍎

That is definitely the key - every interaction online is 99.9% of the time with another human. We must remember that.
Too many people seem to think the internet is anonymous and therefore our actions don't have consequences.
It is not. We are dealing with humans and they deserve respect.
